Mosi was in photogenic mood last night and
showed off posed happily for the camera (the day after the photo comp entries due in - typical eh?). I can't resist showing him off. The first 4 pics were actually the first 4 consecutive photos I took - no turning away from the camera at the last minute like he usually does! I think he likes showing off. He must have been in a good mood as he even played happily with Jaffa.

Thanks for the nice comments. I love my Jaffa (who's the bestest cat in the whole world but not the most photogenic - hence fewer pics of him) but I'm very proud of my little Mosi who's a gorgeous little boy with a lovely purrsonality too.
Chinablue - yes he is a somali. A red somali. My first but definitely not my last.
Tabitha - Mosi thanks you for your nice words (actually he blushed when he read them) but he feels he should mention that he has a girlfriend. He's "seeing" young Rossi, Zeph and Foxy's little sis.

Actually, he's not that big. He's a taller than average cat but he's quite delicate underneath all that fur and only weighed 3.4 kg at his last vet visit (about 6 weeks ago), although he is still growing.

in fact, i so dont believe hes not that big i reckon the only way to sort it is for me to nap him.... :sneaky:

He is quite big, just not massive like a maine coon or NFC. And because he's a foreign style breed he's small boned. He's as tall as Jaffa now at the shoulder and I reckon he'll get a bit taller before he's done, but he's not as long as Jaffa and Jaffa has longer back legs so is taller, so to speak, at his back end! Sometimes it's hard for me to judge because I'm used to big cats as Jaffa is big (ie tall and long) and Magpie was the same, so what some people consider tall I just consider average size. I do remember having some friends visiting when Mosi was only about 6 months old and they thought he was the size of an average cat then!

You're welcome to him at the moment - he's having hairball problems and keeps puking up bits of vomit covered hair :sick:
