Kay and Penny:
they've got my two outdoor cats through three winters now, though I have to put waterproof covers on them as well as the quilted ones - my new addition Penny is spending 23 hours a day on one on top of my wardrobe, and they fit nicely into a Mr Snugs kennel, which is where Tiffany likes to go

so all in all although not cheap they have been very useful for me, and they don't crinkle like some cheaper kinds do

Judecat (Paula):
Ah, thank you Frances. So far I haven't had an arthritic animal. I may do with Merlin as he gets older, as he limps from the snare damage. I'll bear it in mind.

Frances:
They’re a heat reflective pad with an outer fleece or quilted cover.  They come in various sizes from small to huge and are useful for cats and dogs with arthritis.  https://www.petlifeonline.co.uk/product/dogs/dog-beds-and-bedding/flectabed-dog-cat-bedding/

Judecat (Paula):
Not that I want one, mine have plenty of beds, but I am curious, what are they, never heard of them?

Kay and Penny:
OK will put one in the post early next week
