Shadow appears to be eating the snow!! And the cats have taken to the fence presumably to keep their paws dry!!
While I was out this morning, I walked over our local playing field and met various dogs and their owners. One little pup was discovering snow for the first time. The snow came right up to his tummy, and he was only little, but he was having the time of his life. Digging in the snow, rolling in it, trying to catch snowflakes .... the lot!
Yesterday, people had made some huge snowballs and snowmen, and the puppy was lying in wait behind them, then leaping out on an older dog who was also playing about. She was very tolerant of the pup - although they had different owners. I'm pretty sure they had met before. Wish I'd had a camera with me .... It was real, happy, totally abandoned doggy-play. And I'm not even a serious dog-fan
