I was looking on websites and couldnt beieve I came across this. This poor baby has given birth and has been slung out. I checked if the advertiser (Louise) has any other ads on and she is selling the kittens for £50 each. Anybody near Farnborough?

She had a litter of kittens on 23rd Dec, and we are needing to re-home her after the kittens are ready to leave her which will be after 24th Feb. So if you are able to give her a new home, please send me a message.

Poor little soul. ... Fingers crossed someone can help her.

:(
I have been thinking about it myself, as we are looking for a 4th and final cat (even though Farnborough is 50 miles away) I have asked Louise if she is still available. I will let you know when she replies.

what a sweet face she has. Good luck, I hope you get her. She needs some cuddles! :)

Unfortunately these types of ads are in the papers every week, and also rescues receive hundreds if not more phone calls a day for cats that are just now know wanted, and it is for this reason when people post to say my cat has just had kittens I cannot bring myself to say congratulations (although sometimes I appreciate it may have been a stray taken in already pregnant)

Unfortunately, I know what you mean, Ela. A new life should be a joy, but because of people not doing what's best for their animals, there's an awful lot of cats already needing homes. Any more is just adding to the escalating problem. (Obviously, we don't want species to die out! Just have enough people to care for the ones already about!)

I think the advert says it all really. If the poor cat already had a loving home then they would have seen to it being spayed. It doesn't look that young so my guess is it was a house cat that got out one time when it came into season :innocent: :evillaugh: ;)
Still I guess we never know the individual circumstances do we.. Its just important that the cat gets a new loving home. Hope someone on here can help.

i have heard nothing as yet.....
keep you posted.

Fingers crossed that the cat does get a good loving home - they are obviously willing to let her go unneutered, but at least it sounds like they are keeping the kittens until they are 8 weeks, going off those dates.
I agree with Ela and Jack - unless a rescue person posts with kitten pics, i can't congratulate, we see way too many in a rescue situation to be happy at more being born.

poor baby. I pray you get her. xxxx

Unfortuately, I didnt get her- I tried my best....this is the reply I have just received:
Hi Samw,
Just to let you know we have actually sold the cat now.
Louise
Not a happy bunny...I hope she is ok, wherever she is.

Amazing that they use the word 'Sold' when they are advertising the poor little babe for nothing! Surely it would have been more accurate if they had explained that a new home had been found for her. Makes you wonder.
Animals are much too easy to acquire. It really is time all small animals were licenced.
Fingers crossed that she will be going to someone who was as horrified as we were at seeing how callously she was going to be evicted once her kittens were independant.

What is wrong with some people? :censored: :censored: :censored:

Maybe someone from here could go pick her up and take to a rescue? She is free. Where is Farnborough?

She has already gone if you read down. poor baby some people just shouldn't be allowed to have pets.
