My beautiful 'misty' has been missing since around 11pm on Friday 28 December 07 from Calverley, West Yorkshire
He is a 4 year old neutered male with no collar or micro-chip.
He is very distinctive as he has white fur with a grey face, ears, legs and tail and gorgeous blue eyes (see pic).
We are missing him so much and will pay a REWARD if found.

Hi Nicky and :welcome: to Purrs, I am sorry that you found us under such sad circumstances
Have you seen Sam's advice here - http://www.purrsinourhearts.co.uk/index.php?topic=4304.0
It may sound obvious but are you leaving some food out by the back door/in the garden etc to tempt Misty?
:luck: in finding Misty - fingers crossed for you.

Hi Nicky and welcome to Purrs, Misty is gorgeous and I can quite understand you would be worried for him, especially with the weather the way it is. The advice given below is well worth following, and be persistent, don't just call once and leave a message - call contacts daily!! It is amazing how this sort of thing slips rapidly from other people's minds. Can only offer support as I am in Kent, but my thoughts and best wishes are with you.

Hi Nicky,
Sorry to hear Misty has gone AWOL.
My main piece of advice is POSTERS, POSTERS, POSTERS - get as many posters and flyers out as soon as you can. The more posters the more chance there is of someone actually reading them. Also know on your neighbours doors (for at least 10 houses both sides of the street either side of your house) and ask them to let you check their sheds and garages. DO NOT assume if Misty is shut in somewhere he will rush out of an open door .... sometimes when a kitty is scared and frightened it very well may hide in a dark corner rather then coming out.
Good luck and fingers crossed Misty will be back home soon.

Yey! Misty has returned home this morning after 1 week & 3 days!! He's a little thin but looks ok. He smells a bit foisty like he's been trapped somewhere. If only he could tell us!
Welcome home Misty, we've missed you! x ;D

Woo Hoo what wonderful news so pleased he is back home safe and sound. It does sounds like he probably has been shut in somewhere probably whilst the home owners have been away for Xmas / New year.
Thanks for the update.
