:briggin: Hi everyone!
Thought I'd introduce myself - I'm a newbie, just joined today! :shy:
I'm Nicola, and I live in Aberdeen in a city centre flat, so my lovely feline flatmates are indoor moggies, but are very spoiled to compensate, with many, many toys and the run of the whole place!
I am owned by Riley, my beautiful Dilute Red Tuxedo Tabby DSH, who is 18 months old and was adopted from the local PAWSS rescue, and my most recent owner is Skye, a 5 month-old Dilute Tortoiseshell DMH, who has only been with me for a week, but is settling in well. She is also a PAWSS adoption, and is going in for her spaying operation next week (thankfully, Riley is already neutered!).
I thought it was about time I joined a good feline-forum, and this one came highly recommended! Looking forward to getting to know you all ;)

Hi Nicola and :welcome: to Purrs ;D
This is a great forum, very friendly and full of information if and when you need it.
We needs some photos of your babes though, its Purrs law :evillaugh:
There's also a good quiz on Tuesday nights at 9pm on the 'chat' section at the top, check it out next week ;D

:welcome: to Purrs, Nicola! I love your user name.

Who is this imposter Riley? I have the one and only Riley - or at least I did.... :evillaugh:
Glad you found us, this is a really great site. Full of friendly, helpful advice if needed and lots of laughs. I do feel it my public duty to warn you that this place is seriously addictive though - you have been warned

What great looking cats and I do love dilute torties ;D
-
I am certainly becoming a dilute tortie convert! I've been hearing lots about the "Tortie temperament" on another thread, and Skye certainly seems to have it in spades! :Luv:
-
....and given that I've been cahtting on various threads for the last 3 hours or so, I believe I am well and truly addicted already! Oh well, there are worse things to be addicted too! ;D

:welcome: to Purrs,

:thanks: everyone!
Of course, I'm biased, I think they are the sweetest cats ever, but every furbaby mommy thinks that of their littles! Mind you, I have seen lots of other gorgeous kitties since joining this forum :Luv:
-
Hiya and :welcome: to Purrs what gorgeous furbabes you have :Luv2:
-
They are gorgeous, and I do love dilute torties.
-
:thanks:
Have to admit, I'm becoming a bit of a tortie fan, too! Mind you, I of course adore my handsome boy - he's such a soppy lump, surprising given his size! We measured him, and (not including his tail) he's just over 2 ft long, and stands just over 1 ft tall! He really dwarfs little Skye - I never thought an indoor cat could get so big - we suspect he has some tiger in his ancestry!

Hey ya Nicola, Riley and Skye!! Though we have already gotten to know each other, I guess I didn't introduce myself and Oliver properly!! So belatedly, :welcome: !!
My name is Licia and we live in Rome Italy, master Ollie, me and my Roman partner Cristiano. I am glad you are enjoying the forum just as we all do, and it's been a great joy chatting with you!! Keep us posted always with the exciting news of your fabulous babies!

:thanks: Licia, and  to you and Oliver, it's been an absolute joy chatting to everyone ;D
I have to confess to being well and truly addicted! Well, tere are worse things to be hooked on, and it's sooo much fun!
