Title: Charity application advice???
Post by: emmmy_lou on October 30, 2015, 10:14:18 AM
Since the rescue I volunteer at (westgate Ark) have a good fundraising team now, we are going to start the process of becoming a registered charity. It is going to be initially to raise funds for vet treatments.

Does anyone have any advice? We have the bumf to look through, and have a meeting to start draughting the paperwork on monday.

 :thanks:

Sorry no idea but you will probably find all that you need to read plus advice online.

I know you need at least two people to be trustees.

You might want to try PMing Angie at Coventry Cat Group as they are a registered charity.  Best of luck

Good luck with this emmy-Lou.  You know the Ark is very close to my heart, as we have Paul and the volunteers (of which you are a very precious one) to thank for our having Moray - a debt I can never repay adequately.

I don't particularly want to pester anyone at the min (esp poor Ron)

If anything specific comes up tonight I will ask Ang.

Thanks all!
