Hello everyone
Only recently found this site and it seems like there's a good bunch of people here.

I am unemployed and have been making myself useful volunteering at the excellent Haworth Cat Rescue and as well as reading the threads I'm hoping to give some of the sweet cats that get overlooked at the shelter a bit of exposure!

I had three moggies, mittens a very serious (until the spirit of kitten takes over) tabby, and two of her kittens, big, sensitive (he hides under the bed a lot and once when he caught a baby rabbit left it totally unharmed!) gingurr and the most clever and pretty cat i have ever met - gizmo. I wasn't going to have another cat so i was determined to be able to work at the shelter without taking anyone home.....until leroy came in. That's him in my avatar, a 15 year old stray dragon cat that thinks he is a kitten.

Glad you've found us, I'm sure you'll enjoy it here.  It really is a very friendly forum with lots of friendly helpful advice, if ever needed, and of course lots of fun.

I do feel it my public duty to warn you though that it can be a teensy bit addictive  :Crazy: You have been warned  :evillaugh:

Your cats sound lovely, especially the very lucky Leroy  :)

Thank you very much for the welcome!
I shall bring in photos of the gang tomorrow (i don't have internet at home so I am a little safe from addiction!).
I will have to get a video of leroy playing, he completely forgets he only has one fang and stiff legs and runs and snorts like a mad thing. I don't think the other cats are quite sure what he is!

then ..ahem gingur (sorry gingur couldn't resist showing this one!) sprawled out looking like there is a reasonable cat  crawling out a lake of a second cat!
...and looking more dignified hugging his sister :)
