would be a huge loss to the area if the charity is lost, I know Ron steps in where so many others can't and it is hard to contemplate what will happen without Lost Cats Brighton

he gave so much to his cats, and now will never know if his efforts to find a new sanctuary for them comes to fruition - so sad

Currently they are trying to rehome the cats as Ron's house was rented and they haven't found alternative premises

This is such sad news, although not totally unexpected. Ron was the loveliest of men, absolutely the Best!

omg that is heartbreaking news. Ron was such a lovely guy and when I visited a few times went out of his way to be hospitable even though he probably had better things to do, RIP Ron, I truly hope that the rescue can go on

Pursley has also gone today, and will be joining Ron at The Bridge.

On behalf of Ron’s family, Lost Cats Brighton would like to announce that Ron’s funeral will be held at 3pm on Wednesday 25th January 2017, at Woodvale Crematorium. And then afterwards at the Nevill Pub, on Nevill Road in Hove. http://www.thenevill.co.uk
All welcome.
To help with preparations it would be useful to have an indication of numbers, so if you intend to come perhaps you can let us know below.

I would attend, but OH has his care review next Wednesday afternoon and I can't really miss it. :'(, I would like to go and pay my respects. It would be the least and last thing I could do for Ron.

This is great news, Dawn. Those cats are beautiful. They did snow dogs up here last year, and our firm sponsored one. They were all sold off for Charity. This will be so good for Ron's legacy. :)

OH I LOVE THE SNOW CATS AND HOPE THEY RAISE LOADS OF MONEY FOR LOST CATS AS IT WOULD BE GREAT IF THEY COULD CARRY ON RONS WORK.

I like Mauser but Mr. Frosty is my favourite. It's the boots that do it. ;D. I Some of the names made me laugh, like Pablo Picatto. :rofl: I hope they raise lots of money.

I really hope so, thought you'd like mauser! no idea how much they will get but everything helps and having someone off the telly doing the auction can't hurt (not that I know who he is lol!)

There is a Peter James police cat too. With a signed book, I expect that will go well. ;D
