Hello,

This behavior is often linked to their predatory nature, and they may be attracted by the smell of food or simply seeking to satisfy their curiosity.

Hello,

For my part, my cat is not very greedy. As soon as he finishes his plate, he doesn't tend to nibble anymore.

Cats are typically grazers who snack throughout their waking hours, so if your cat finishes their meals and asks for more, this may indicate a problem, ranging from boredom and medical causes to simply needing more calories.  It is always worth checking with a vet that your cat does not have any medical condition.
In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

Can you explain why cats appear hungry when they were recently well fed?
