I know the feeling I would love to have some herbs on the window sill but as Amber chews everything I havent dared. I did think about getting a cat scare plant and seeing if that works before risking others.

I think every list you looks at contridicts another list  however this one might help!  Orchids are safe BTW.

are there any cat-safe green house plants?

Looking through Cat Protection's exhaustive list of toxic plants (blimey! mine used to eat avocado and survived...) almost all the nice, big, green houseplants are listed as toxic.
Yukka, umbrella plant, swiss cheese plant, ficus etc.
To be safe, are we stuck in a plant free zone or is there one I've missed? We are in a flat so they are very likely to have a go at it - probably, although they do ignore the basil in the kitchen which seems to be safe.
We are already just buying roses and alstroemeria as they appear to be safe. My Max eats rose and alstro petals though and the occasional leaf when I don't feed him fast enough.

They lived before with a giant yukka but didn't chew it. Still....no good? Any suggestions welcome. Flat needs cheering up badly.  :thanks:
