:luck: :luck: :luck: :blow kiss: Hope all goes well. Not sure if I've been asleep for a while or what but don't remember reading anything about Charlies beahviour. Hope it's not serious.
Mary x
I hope you all don't mind if I keep you posted?
Thanks again to you all for your support and hope you don't mind if I "lean" on you for the next few weeks. Sarah said it is not a quick fix and could take up to about 6 months - especially if he has to have the meds.
thanks Leanne. My house is open plan so it is difficult to do the food in secret but I am working on it, have managed to secrete his lunch in his automatic feeder without him realising YET.
He has to have his abs and metacam on his food as I don;t want to stress him by pilling and syringing him but will work on that too. I feel more positive about it all myself having seen an improvement re the window situation already,
It;s turning into the diary of Charlie the cat aged 1 and eleven twelfths
It is supposedly all part of the hyperesthesia when they become more reactive to sounds and sensations. He has certainly only been like this since his ear wash though but the vet wont have it!That does sound like the cleaning out of his ears has made him more sensitive to noise.

Really bad day today and he even reacted to the sound of me putting a cig out in an ashtray!
He is still very reactive to small sounds though and has been shaking his paws a little - anyone have any experience of why this could be? Thanks for reading:)

Do you mean shaking his paws as if he were trying to get something off them? When does he do it? Blip does this from time to time and I think it's because she's a bit stiff - I started a thread about it, I'll try and find it...
There is nothing more I can do if the meds don't work and I wont know that for three weeks. Whatever happens I have to do the best I can with Charlie's interests at heart, even I break my own heart in the process. :(
Don't feel you can't post - we all want to know how Charlie is doing! :Luv:
