i have a lady on her own who wants a indoor cat.. and local CP branches have failed to come up with anything.. Trouble is that this aldy is in Herne Bay, Kent.. several hundred miles away...! I am not sure she would be up for taking on a cat that she did not have a chance to see before. Althoughshe was willing to travel.. That is too far.. Maybe the reason such a lovely cat is still with you is because she is in Scotland and hence quite remote from any potential homes...
We get very few indoor home cats in care, the odd FIV but not that many and i do not rehome most cats that come into care as being indoor only as indoor cats. I like to give them the choice.. So we find it difficult when they want take FIV but want an indoor cat.. I emailed out all of SE branches but no one got back to me!

Home found
Got this email back from new owner
I have arranged to collect madge, I would like to thank you for your assistance, I will send some photos once madge has settled into her new home.
And also would ask if you would consider doing a short radio interview by telephone, at a later date to promote the good work all you folk are doing in regards to rescue and re-homing of the animals, as I think a small feature would be a good way of raising awareness of your organisation and the work that all Involved do.
Thanks again
Gordon
Yes Madge is going to live with a radio broadcaster and is going to be spoilt rotten ;D
Also looks like I am going to be on the radio too  I let you all know when it is so you can all tune in

I'll move and lock this now, any updates we'd love to hear if you can pop a new thread in Cat's stories :thanks:
