............. so he's sent us Boris to be getting on with :)
He was born on 16 April 2011 under the excellent care of Coventry Cat Group and his ma Moggitt :Luv:
OH's birthday was on Monday and we went for a quick couple of mournful drinks late afternoon and concluded neither of us had any appetite for another puddintat. Most unlike me but really too blown away by losing our gorgeous darling angel......... Came home to an apologetic tentative email from Judith (Madasacatter) from Coventry Cat Group where the girls came from saying sorry for not allowing much in the way of grieving time but thought she'd give us 1st refusal bearing in mind his resemblance to Fred. Our reaction was of course ...
:omg: :omg: :omg: :blow kiss: :blow kiss: :blow kiss:
and we were well caught by a professional crazy cat rescue lady :) :) :)
He will not of course replace our darling angel in any way but will be loved and hopefully will love back in his own good time.
It's been a hell of a week all told!

Wish I had brought a camera to Judith's today. I was not with it when I left our house and almost forgot the carrier............. Can you just imagine Judith's reaction if we had turned up sans cat carrier? :what: I also hadn't eaten (no time as spent all morning doing a deep clean of Boris' bedroom) and became a bit car sick ...... I was all a muddle
Judith is looking after the most adorable cats. OH was pinned down (chest and lap) by two in particular :evillaugh: He daren't move coz the one on his chest had bopped him twice :rofl:
One in particular stole my heart. A simply fabulous 17 year old called Sylvester that reminded me so much of Gill's Misa. He sits directly in front of vistors and headbutts legs for attention which I was delighted to give :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:. Lovely lovely handsome lad....
Of course we got to meet Treacle. The arrival of her kittens was on last year's webcam and Sooty who was on TV due his love for cushions :)
It's a little worrying that my lot run for the hills when visitors come but Judith's are so friendly :-:

Having met Boris in "person" so to speak, I can vouch for his fluffiness and overall cutest.
Just as well as he has got such a super home, Judith was very taken with him. He is very lucky to have found you, and I`m sure Freddie has sent him to you. He really does look like a Boris too!

Yes, Boris was one of Moggitt's spotty babies. My daughter Lynda has adopted one of them also, now goes by the name of Pippa and is drop dead gorgeous.

I was having trouble spotting which one was Boris but I managed to nose it out eventually ;)

Not sure if his ears are particularly big Gillian or just very noticeable due to their pinkness. Must admit I call him pinky sometimes :-[

Thanks for nice comments :). He is a cute little doll :Luv: He is very talented at washing up cat bowls. Giving Noni a run for her money on that score....
He's very cuddly with me and quite self assured with the other residents. He jumped up on Groucho today whilst chasing Da Mousey. Groucho was dozing in the fluffy radiator bed. The look on Groucho's face was priceless. Initially it was... "what the......" followed by an incredulous "did you see that?" :evillaugh: :evillaugh: Boris just trotted off after Da Mousey and couldn't give a hoot ....

Aw Rosella - how gorgeous is it that Miss Noni Baroni has so easily taken him to her heart and is sharing her snoozing spot with him? ;D ;D And he looks so tiny int he radiator bed compared to Groucho - it's not that long since Grouchie was that little. :Luv: Pinky :evillaugh: Yep - I can see why. :)

Not only has he wormed his way into being pals with almost all of em, he seems to have spun a little magic to help them get on with each other :shocked:. To be honest, I'm even pretty impressed with Dinah sticking her ground with that lot nearby, even though she's on a different level :shify:

Me too, 20 dreamies is baby Boris toof ;DRosella keep an eye for more, Mister lost 2 within a week
it was easy to spot them on black carpet and bedding :)
