Not sure if it would be possible but 'Poo-cam' has the camera coming in from above so you can see all the action so to speak. Don't know if that would be feasible but would be lovely to be able to get a good view of the babies when they arrive ;D

That is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute to watch - Treacle just had a belly rub and then washed herself and then started to bath one of her kittens.
The tears are in my eyes and I must go and get jobs done or I will be tempted to watch for hours.

Well done Treacle, you are a lovely Mum and know what you are doing. I hope you let your foster Mum get some sleep in the early hours.
I think it is three live ones so far. Sadly Socks had a stillbirth, as she had not even tried to lick it, it was a big one though compared to the other kittens. Makes me wonder if she was mated twice? The colour of the stillborn one was mostly black.
The others are mostly black like their Mum with a little white on them.

Treacle is very tired and wants to sleep, she has eaten well but no more kittens.
Angie doesnt think there are any more but hard to tell.
She has not enough puter power to keep cam working and also post.

As far as I know, we haven't spoken today, as I have had to take Fluffy to the vets. If you were on yesterday, you may have seen on another thread (I think on rescue and rehoming) that I had a Mum give birth yesterday at around the same time too! Sadly one was stillborn as far as we could tell, it was a very large kitten, and was number 4, it was twice the size of the others, and Mum hadn't bothered to do anything with it. :(
But the other 3 of mine seem to be getting on okay, trying not to interfere, and encouraging her to keep still and lie down to feed, otherwise she is standing up for fuss from us! It is hard to see how they are managing to feed, as she has a very hairy chest!

mummy is on the prowl today.
When I went in last night to put the heater on, Titch stormed into the room and promptly ran back out with Treacle after him. She chased him all the way downstairs and I heard her swearing at him. When I got down AD had already picked her up and popped her in the hall.
she decided to have a huge wee in one of the trays down there before triumphantly going back upstairs.
Today, with the 'ferals' rampaging up and down the hall outside the room she is spending some time just sitting behind the door lurking! :rofl:

Having just gorged herself on sundays leftover chicken , Treacle looks fatter than she did a week ago!

Treacle wants to go out now its been a week.
She has never liked using the tray in the room with her kittens - I say tough!
Kittens are getting bigger and I shall have to move the camera further away soon.

Wish I could view them at work on breaks but lots of things are blocked :(

Cam is on, but I have moved mum and kits downstairs so that the kittens can be socialised.
At the moment mum has wandered round the living room and sworn at my cats on the patio so I think its going to be noisy for a while.
It will also be quite dark as I have almost completely covered the pen until the swearing subsides so while the cam is broadcasting, it may be hit and miss as to how much can be seen for a couple of days.
It also means I can tidy my cat free study (until the next one comes along... :briggin:)

Treacle and co. are back in my study after Treacle decided to spend 2 days screaming at any cat that she saw and as much as the sight of Goose running on the spot on the laminate flooring (All 10 stone of him!) is amusing I gave up....
mum not eating much, did book a vet appointment today but cancelled it as she has just guzzled a plateful. Needs to be presented to her in the pen with me here....... Think there is a steep training curve for me going on...... sigh

Just had a look on the cam - Eric was kneading away and feeding to his little heart's content, then got shoved out out of the way by the little black kitty..... :)
Poor mum, she might just be cream cracked! Maybe wanting a bit of TLC and spoiling & attention from her own mummy-in-situ. :Luv2: Glad to hear that vet appointment not necessary.

There is something so very calming, and peaceful, to watch kittens kneading as they suckle. I love seeing big cats do it when they're getting comfy but a kitten just makes my heart burst when I see him or her do it. :Luv2:

Hattie's eyes are bunged up today, so I have bathed them and am hoping that will sort them out.
Judith lost another kitten yesterday so has only one remaining of the four (one stillborn) and my heart goes out to her as I try and not feel too anxious for these little ones (and of course Karen's as well). Rescue can be so heartbreaking and trying to console oneself with 'you can only work with what you get' does not take the sadness away. :(

Have been looking at the cam but not on i have missed them. Will have to have a look tom. Cant wait to see some kittens. I am thinking of getting a friend for Lucy as Neo no longer with us :'( Am just trying to deal with the loss of Neo will then look to rescue another one i think. Hattie's eyes look much better this morning.
She and Eric had a kissing/fighting session this morning.
Mum now has to use the top entrance as they are mobile enough to get out of the side if they want to, so its now closed.

Hattie's eyes continue to improve - I am going out soon so have put audio on - will mute my pc so you get no echoes :naughty:
however if the phone rings and someone leaves a message you may be able to hear whats being said lol!

they've just polished off two plates of chicken.....

Kittens have been moved and penned to stop bad litter tray habits.
Not happy bunnies but needs must and I can finally sort out my study (again) and maybe even get admin done before the AGM/ meeting on friday.
hate to pen them but will give them a run around every so often and hopefully if we get visitors they can have some play time.
