Doh! Just realised that this is the day my kitchen is being delivered. I hope they give me an early time slot!
Daisymac - we can meet up if you like? My OH won't come and I didn't go last year because he bought tickets to MPH in Birmingham for the week before or after and said we couldn't do 2 Birmingham trips in 2 weeks.
I knew it! - as I said, something always happens - I'm cat sitting that weekend, darn it! well, I finish the Sat morning of the show, dunno if I could go on straight from the visit, if I can get organised early enough! - anyone going from my way? Wiltshire, I don't do motorway driving.....
I will be going up the M3, then A34 the M40 if that helps anyone, only me in the car! Definitely wanting to meet up with people as I can't imagine it will be much fun on my own!
@ Daisymac - no worries, couple of weeks til the show so plenty of time to organise!
Is anyone going from Hampshire? I'm planning on driving up but it seems sillly going with just me in the car if theres anyone else going from down this way!
Adult entrance is £10, I remember parking being extortionate last time I went to the NEC, not far shy of £10 if I remember rightly!
Lesley, that would be great and I'm sure you could do with a fun day out, sounds like you have had a stressful few weeks.
Shall we start a list of who is going so maybe we can meet up.
I will start:
Daisymac
Wibblechick
I havent looked at the website but two years ago it was in one massive hall, like a bloomin aircraft hanger.
28th
Are we all going to meet up at Wetherspoons at 1pm?
Trigger! Stay with the Supreme. Don't be tempted away.....
Are we all going to meet up at Wetherspoons at 1pm?
I must confess the actual cat show part I did not enjoy last time I went, didn't like to see them all in the cages, and some of them looked very unhappy :(, but that's just my opinion - but it would have been nice to meet up with everyone and buy some goodies.
Last year was my first Cat Show and I am no apologist for Cat Shows but the pens are really quite large and, whilst there were undoubtedly a few unhappy looking cats :( , the vast majority seemed to be perfectly at ease or asleep. If they all enjoyed it as much as Witty's Pearl (incredibly friendly and totally at ease) it would be perfect of course. I am mainly going to meet up with everyone though although it wouldn't be right not to take a peek at the puds esp the NFCs :blow kiss:
Hope to see you there Janey.
I know pictures were taken; so ..... whose going to be the first to post some ?
(Assuming, that is, that my ugly mug didn't bust all the cameras .....)
Great pictures and would love to see some more of the cage ;D
Aren't we an abstemious lot ? All tea and cola!
andphlangham - were you at the Somali talk? I think I saw you there.
