Title: Cat fountains?
Post by: thenewyorker on July 07, 2014, 06:56:46 AM
Does anyone use a ceramic drinking fountain? Or I guess anything not plastic. My cat and dog share the fountains I have (plastic) and I found drinking from plastic containers is one of the many things people blame for staining around white dogs mouths. I thought if there's a good ceramic alternative I might test the theory.

I fancy one of these https://www.etsy.com/shop/CatFountains I have a plastic fountain at the moment but I tried to avoid plastic bowls generally. The one I have looks ugly which I don't like. My parents have a small water feature in their conservatory and the cats drink from that the only problem is it doesn't have a filter.

The Etsy shop ones look nice but I can't see a delivery charge and think they might be in America.

I don't have a fountain ... just a large ceramic serving dish that my lot use.

Found these that might be of interest:
