Up for adoption, Kato and Kuki are almost certainly from the same breeder as they are the i,age of one another, but were unwanted by their owner who had locked them outside. They are currently with me as foster carer.
Both are black DSH with a slightly Oriental majesty about them. :wow:
Kato is around 10-12 months, a real soft gentle boy, placid nature, loves to sit by you for cuddles and purrs. Due to have his castration op on Thursday. :shify:
Kuki is around 16 weeks, lively, elegant little girl with good manners - she has been under Kato's wing and he has taught her nicely. However, she is still essentially a kitten with all the exuberance that brings. :shy: She will be spayed when the vet thinks she's ready as she's currently rather underweight.
Both are litter trained, know the word "No" and very, very friendly.
Kato and Kuki would be suitable for re-homing together as they do get on well, and would integrate easily as a bonded pair. North/East London. All usual home checks apply.

If they understand the word 'no' then they are doing better than any other cat I have ever met!
-
And Kuki, who slowed down for just a second.
-
Aww Sheila they both are gorgeous :Luv2: :Luv2: Kuki has such a pretty face :Luv:
Love the name Kato ;D
-
Beautiful! Well done you for taking care of them and being a wonderful rescuer. :Luv:
-
Absolutely stunningly gorgeous!!
Hope a new home is found soon. :) And well done for helping them, Sheila. You're awesome.
-
Kato's new Mum comes to collect him on Saturday. ;D He's got such a nice calm character that we've decided he'll be fine with little Audrey (4) who is besotted with cats. Audrey's Mum is quite excited too. :)
Kuki is still too boistrous to be homed with kids so she's staying behind with me until a suitable home can be found. Here she is :shify:
-
So pleased Kato has found a wonderful home, it sounds like the perfect match for all :)
Kuki is lovely :Luv: :Luv: :Luv: a true mini panther in that photo ;D
-
Aww Sheila what a wonderful update, i have a big smile on my face :)
New home sounds great, so pleased for Kato :Luv:
Hope they keep the name ;)
Have a wonderful life young Kato.x
-
Good news for Kato, hope Kuki won't miss him too much though :(
I've amended the title.
-
Just want to send Kuki best wishes for her spay today Sheila
-
Hoping all goes well for Miss Kuki
-
Pleased to report she breezed through her op. On my way home from work on the bus willing the driver to go faster. Need to se e her for myself, and don't think I want to ever let her go.
-
Me thinks Miss Kuki is home Sheila with her Mum and Dad xx ;D
-
Well done Miss Kuki :sneaky:
-
So pleased all went well Sheila    Please give young Kuki a hug from her auntie Rosella :catluv:
-
Thank you Auntie Rosella, :cat rub: she's bright and happy and very bouncy this morning. :briggin:
My vet did such a neat job, her bald patch is on her tummy, not her side, and the stitches are all internal sutures. No e-collar ;D
Vet thinks she may remain quite small. I'd like that, we haven't had a small cat since little Chausette (Pursley's sister) who was the runt of her litter, so never grew past half pint size. :)
-
I have to say you are not doing a very good job of even vaguely pretending she is still up for adoption Sheila :evillaugh:
Bless her heart. She sounds adorable :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2:
-
I'd say Miss Kuki's paw are well and truly home welcome to the failed fosterer club ;D
-
Well, you said it, Ladies, I think you know me better than I know myself. :-[
The sad loss of young Ross has focused my mind. :'(
I was so worried about Kuki yesterday while she was having her spay, couldn't help thinking how I would feel if I lost her. It made me realise that I'm in love with her. She's staying here. ;D Thank you Ross, darling, for getting into my head. :Luv2:
Kato goes to his brand new home this afternoon. ;D I'm sure his new Meowmi (Fiona) will be delighted to know that Kuki is also now formally adopted. This has been the most fulfilling "rescue" I've been privileged to be involved in, and I'm so thankful to everyone who has helped out.
Have amended title. Mod, please feel free to move this to Sorted. :shy:
Welcome, please, the newest member of the Tufty Club. :welcome:

 :) :) :)
-
:wooooo: So pleased you have decided to let Kuki stay :)
-
Sheila, thi shas made me cry so much today, but in a good way. I'm so pleased for Kuki, because I dont think she could have a better home than to stay with you all. You are such a special lady, and thank you for having such a big heart.
-
Aaw Sheila! Kuki is gorgeous, glad she has found a good home :Luv2:
-
Lovely update, she is a beautiful girl, massive soft spot for black cats. :Luv2:
-
2.2 kgs, she's been signed off by our wonderful vet Neil who had a lovely cuddle with her and got massive purrs in return.
I'm so happy, she's also charmed a little paw play out of Sly this evening, so she's gradually making new friends. ;D
-
I knew you would end up keeping one of them!
I posted this on purrs, but no- one replied :(
I thought you might like to submit some of yours?

2.2kgs - well done - that's your fine cuisine, that is!! ;D Am so pleased that her spay has gone well, and - and - that she's coaxed a paw play session out of Sly :wow: :wow: Now that really is something to be pleased about. ;D
Emmy-lou, that's a fab idea. Am thinking how good that someone is seeking to raise their profile in that way. The rescue we went to when we picked up Murray had two beautiful lithe black cats - just young uns themselves, bless them, both of whom were mums to a veritable plehors of black and black and white kittens. All of them were gorgeous. The two Mums happily have new homes to go to, and I'm hoping their kittens will be equally lucky, because they were all little stunners.
Kuki is an absolute Diva in the making, I feel. ;) :Luv:
-
Fabulous news. As Luna and Cleo will no doubt tell her, black cats are the best. They are small and dainty too but don't ever let size fool you!
:Luv2:
-
Well done to Kuki for worming her way into your heart Sheila :) I'm sure it won't be long until she has Sly and the others wrapped round her little paw :Luv: :Luv:
