Probably a no but thought I would check, would it be ok to use a baby shampoo on Purdys back end?she pongs from the diorea ,I took her funnel head thing off so she could clean herself a bit but then she try's to lick at her stitches x

I have used hyperallergenic baby wipes before now. Should think it would be ok as long as no perfume
-
I do nt think baby shampoo is a good idea or washing her while she still has stitches. I would go with Alisons idea but be prepared for her not liking it :shify:

Baby wipes is best bet, I would agree. Perhaps a gentle bathing of splashing warm water on her rear but might have her wriggling like a maniac and threatening her stitches

Ok thanks, will use some wipes x

I know Teresa had posted in the past about using Johnsons baby shampoo on kittens (she said she wasn't brave enough to try and bath an adult unless it was a desperate case!) but agree with Gill in light of a fresh surgical wound and stitches I would avoid shampoo and see if babywipes can do the trick.
