Abigail went to her new home this evening

She will be spoilt rotten

The lady is lovely and Abigail explored every inch of the kitchen, dining room and utility room whilst I was there. She had something to eat, and seemed totally at home, I'm so pleased for this little girl and I'm sure she's going to be very happy in her new home

Abigail is finally off to her new home, she was meant to be going today but the lady has builders in so she'll be going on Wednesday evening

I will miss her a lot as she's settled in so well and is such a gorgeous girl, why do I have to get attached to the little blighters

She has the cutest mush and is constantly sticking her tongue out

My hubby who is not a persian guy has got a definite soft spot for this little lady and I'm sure he'll miss having his little chats with her as well. At her new home she will be in the company of 2 gorgeous elderly Siamese girls, and since she's settled with mine, I'm sure she'll be okay. I will definitely get some piccies of her before she goes, as I've been a little lapse in that department lately and Candice will never forgive me if I don't

I've got a definite home lined up for Abigail

The only problem being the lady does have two other cats and I'm just hoping that she will be okay with them

I think she will as she isn't too bad and I think it's a bit different here as there are so many.

Update on Abigail and Baby Sean

As some of you will know, sadly little Sean didn't make it

Abigail did her usual ignoring and not allowing him to feed, and I ended up doing top ups and putting him back in with her to try and encourage her motherly instinct again. I think she knew there was something not quite right with him and the fact she had aborted 3 times must have happened for a reason. These poor babies were obviously not meant to be, I was most gutted about baby Sean, for him to have lasted longer than the others and then for him to slip away was heartbreaking

Abigail has coped well since all this happened and I think in some ways she was relieved. She has now put some weight on, and last week had her first season since giving birth so she will be booked in for spaying as soon as she finishes. She has settled down really well and has even started venturing upstairs to climb into bed for a cuddle. I think hubby has started to get a bit of a soft spot for her even though he's not really into Persians, he doesn't quite see the beauty that a lot of us see when we look at their little faces

The good news is I may have someone interested in her once she's been spayed, so fingers crossed she'll have a forever home waiting

He's doing okay but he's still doing a lot of crying bless him and I have to keep getting Abigail to lie on her side otherwise she just ignores him now

Baby Sean is still doing well but he seems to be crying a lot so I'm not sure if Abigail is getting a little fed up of feeding him

I've given him a top up feed this evening and I think I'll try and keep an eye on her with him. He's growing and looks bright but the motherly instinct may be wearing a little thin with her

Baby Sean now weighs 0.133 kg

I think the fact that he's gaining weight is a good sign, I think this little man is going to be okay
