nope, never heard of it in fact. Used to use the purina for babies when coaxing kittens onto solids, that and a pentavite vitamin supplement. But that was back in the dark ages when there was not choice but adult tinned cat food - feeling old...

Yes I feed the benglys on Purina Pro Plan.  They seem to really like it and have lovely shiny coats  ;)

I wouldn't say that Purina Pro Plan is better than JWB.  Mosi was fed Pro Plan before he came to me and when I compared the ingredients I much preferred JWB.  I think Pro Plan is pretty comparable to Royal Canin, Hills, JWB etc. but it's not hypo allergenic like JWB.  I think it contains corn which I'm not keen on?

I used to feed Purina Pro Plan when I had to get all my food from the supermarket, but now I have access to pet shops, I prefer JWB. Last time I checked, Purina had 16% meat, JWB has 26%.
