Does sound lovely Mary :)
-
Isnt that a repeat?
-
No Gill, you're thinking if the Horizon one that was on BBC1, it had a similar name. At least I think you are
Mary
-
They did one called the secret life of dogs - dont think this one os a repeat, but can think of the programme you may e thinking of Gill. So want to see this but I'm away on business next Monday, so will have to threaten cajole and coerce OH into remembering to Sky plus it. :shify:
-
Thanks Mary, I havent seen this advertised (yet)
Will set my timer asap :wow:
-
No details were given when advertised so I looked it up on the internet and it's only on for 1 week. The week after it's about babies - not watching that - they don't have fur :naughty: :evillaugh:
Oh Sue, you must get him to record it for you ;)
Mary
-
Thanks! Sounds like a must watch. :) There's a book about Jessi Cat I think.
-
Yes I was thinking of the other one
-
Remember to watch it or record it like I am doing.

eeep! just started a new thread because i didnt see this one :-[
-
No probs, it deserves more than 1 thread ;)
So c'mon how many Aaaws came out of your mouth? I had a smile on my face for the whole time and kept tilting my head and saying "aaaw"
Really enjoyed this programme. :Luv2:

I've recorded and looking forward to watching. Usually useless brother in law rang me at 9pm to tell me it was on :-: Wonder what he wants :shify:
-
Loved it - those little tabbie kittens were way off the cute scale! And loved Hamish McHamish, lording it around his town with his own seat at the hairdressers!
I learned a few things too - never knew that about Siamese cats' colouring being affected by temperature.
-
I loved it, it really helped with my cat withdrawl symptoms. :Luv2:
-
I really enjoyed it ;D ;D
-
It was amazing how Sugar survived that fall :wow: :Luv2:The cat giving that boy confidence to do a speech at school too :wow: There were so many fantastic things crammed in to 1 hour.
Totally agree about the kittens :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2: Amazing when the slow motion showed their mum combing their fur with her tongue.
I was also surprised about the colour of the Siamese cats and I didn't know cats had whiskers on their front legs :wow:
The blind cat climbing the tree OMG what a leap it took ;D
The cat and the dog that was half blind and deaf was so cute too. OMG I could go on and on, I thought it was fantastic :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2:

I enjoyed it especially as I have a foster mummy and her four 3 week old kittens upstairs (CCG). I was a bit sad that there was no mention of not letting the cat out until neutering and vaccinations, but I suppose you can't have everything.
-
So you liked it then, Mary? ;)
-
Just a bit ;) :evillaugh: :evillaugh: My face is still aching from smiling
Mary
-
I'll merge this with the other thread if nobody minds so that people don't have to post twice or decide which thread to post on!
I have downloaded it from catch up tv as I was already watching/recording 2 things on tv last night so couldn't record it. Not watched it yet.
-
You're gonna love it Susanne, I promise.
Mary
-
I'm just catching up with it now, having first watched Alan Davies and the dogs ;D
-
I'll be watching the dogs tomorrow as I've recorded it ;)
Mary
-
Springwatch is dominating my viewing at the moment - can't drag myself away from the red button! But I'm off work sick at the moment so should be able to catch up with it tomorrow.
-
I keep forgetting to record that Susanne. Hope you are gonna be feeling better for Jaffa's birthday ;)
Mary
-
I've just watched it, the blind cat jumping up the tree was amazing, cats really are a superior breed.x
-
Is this available on the interweb catch-up player? I haven't got a telly which works since they switched off the analogue.
-
I was a bit sad that there was no mention of not letting the cat out until neutering and vaccinations, but I suppose you can't have everything.
I thought that was such a wasted opportunity. Really hated seeing her leaving through the cat flap aged 6 months without a tell tale spay shaved area. Very disappointed in what was otherwise a lovely programme. The blind cats were brilliant. Could have done without the the lion taming clip. Didn't know that cats were long sighted compared to us and can see better a few feet ahead rather than close too.
Noni was hooked to the screen for most of it too. The kittens miaowing esp made her ears twitch :) The kitten they followed looked very much like what she would have looked like as a kitten :Luv2:

Yer I must admit Rosella I was also thinking Bonnie probably looked like that when she was a kitty :Luv2:
I was the same about their eye sight, I'm always saying to Bonnie "it's in front of you, you blind bat" but now I know it's just a 'cat thing' :evillaugh:

I thought letting the blind cats outside was a bit odd (unless they had an enclosure), I think if I had a blind one I wouldnt be letting them wander about?!
I thought it was interesting about them being more receptive to high voices - Denzel always tries to sit on me whenever I am talking on the phone!
-
Loved that programme! The stories were all so touching. :Luv:
I've ordered the book about Jessi Cat and one about Hamish McHamish too! :)
-
Thanks for the link Jiji. Now I can make a mug of hot choc and watch it (the programme, not the hot choc). :thanks:
-
Missed it, but hoping I can catch up on it later.
-
I watched it yesterday and thought it was great. Didn't really learn anything I didn't already know but it there was some lovely camera work and I loved watching the slow mo footage of cats falling etc.
-
I knew you would like it and I'm sure it put a smile on your face and cheer you up a bit with you being ill
Mary
-
It's still in my sky planner for a second viewing!
-
I've certainly not deleted that recording - well worth another watch, especially on a down day ;)
