Well these two turned on oodles of charm and the lady is coming to collect them tomorrow!!!! Gracie did make a run for it after they had left and Mark and I had to spend 15 mins on hands and knees under the car to coax her out!!!! She's back safe and sound now though!

WEll, we had two enquiries within an hour on these two!! First one wanted either Rosie or Will and Grace, but she does have two other cats, both youngsters, and part of Rosies unhappiness is the other cats, so I dont think it would be fair on her. They are being viewed on Sun.

IT will happen, dont forget they were reserved for 2 weeks, so it isn't that long since they were taken off reserved.
Rosie has had no enquiries either, but that isn't a surprise. She doesn't seem particularly happy, the couple of times she has left the bathroom of her own accord, she has met a cat and spat at them, and wont leave willingly - if you take her downstairs, she wont leave the front room willingly. I wish people would think of the effect an upheaval can have on an old cat.

OOh, I was hoping for good news then!! I am surprised about them to be honest - we did have someone enquire about tabbies, but she didn't think a pair would fit in with her existing cats.

They both arrived safely at around 6.20pm. They are currently hiding behind the sofa but seem quite cosy. Will is definitely more outgoing and has been exploring whilst Grace watched him from her hiding space. Pictures will be here in a few days.

I can't understand people who take on young cats and then emigrate, emigration takes time to plan and sort out, the 2 6 month olds (I still think they are younger) that I am hopefully rehoming were abandoned at the rescue centre with the reason 'owner emigrating' and assuming they weren't from her litter, she would only have had them for 3 months or so, and it must take not far off that much to plan an emigration!!

I hope they all find loving forever homes soon!

The bloke who has enquired about Will and Grace keeps messing us about, but assures us he will be in touch tomorrow, so I have taken them off Reserved in case it helps them, as i have lost faith in this bloke now. Rosie is here.

We have had an enquiry about Will and Grace, so fingers crossed for them, and unless something comes up, Rosie will be coming here on Wed - although she isn't litter trained, so could have a few issues there, she might have to go to the rescue and be penned to help, unless I persevere with her. Caging is an issue as I put them in my front room, and that could set Rolo off, he did spray in the cat room last weekend. IF she goes to the rescue, I would take a 10yo in instead.

Apparently it is too expensive, and the rental place don't allow cats. Fingers crossed we can home them directly rather than come into rescue, especially for the 15yo, she rescued her as a kitten, so she doesn't know anything else.

where is she emigrating to? Macquarie Island (the only destination I can think of where you might not be allowed to take cats). Really, some people should not be allowed to have pets - even if they have to pay for quarantine and air transport it is not that dear. And would they put their kids into foster care if they couldn't afford it? I don't think so...

My response was can you not take the younger ones with you, what colours and do you have pics? Havne't had a reply yet (although not checked that e-mail account since yesterday morning). I hope homes can be found for them all, but i do respect her decision not to take a 15yo.

Tell me why does someone who is emigrating take on 2 young cats (18months) and now wants them rehomed!!

Sorry, it just dosnt make alot of sense!

When i get calls like this i ask them why they dont take the cats with them!

But i hope you manage to find a lovely home for them anyhows!

We have had an e-mail from a lady needing help with rehoming her cats due to emigrating. She is happy to keep them till she goes, and we are full at the moment, so I would like to try and get them straight into a home rather than come to us.

Will and Grace are brother and sister, 18/19mo, neutered (and I think, vaccinated). These two need to go together.

Rosie is 15, so if nothing can be found for her, I Will take her in, but would like to get my numbers down a bit first.
