Great stuff, you'll soon be knee deep ;D
-
oooh they are a great bunch of folks and do a wonderful job. Good luck and fingers crossed you will be able to help them and the animals.

Applied for driver position initially but after talking to Chris I might be suited to phone op and vet driver rather than anything else as I am based in Sutton in Ashfield Nottinghamshire rather than Nottingham. Will read through everything in the next few days.

Good luck.
-
Sorry but what is AARU
-
Animal Ambulance Rescue Unit.
They have volunteers that man phones from home and take calls from the public ranging from injured birds to poorly cats and dogs. They have been known to take in fox cubs etc.
The call handlers then organise a driver to go and collect and either go to the vets or to a specialist who can handle them in the case of wildlife.

Are they just based in Nottingham or do they work all over the country
-
Based in and cover the Nottingham Area.

i would not mind volunteering if they were in cheshire. I would not mind helping in my area for something like that.
