Aw, poor old thing, he would have died if he'd been left out any longer, the weather really has turned now (even down here in the south!). Have you given him a name?

Bless you Ron, if only there were more "mad" people around!

He may well have hyperthyroidism, which could affect his appetite like that.  bless him.

Ron, I think your strategy of not messing him about too much is a sound one.  I suspect what he craves more than anything is warmth, food and safety to snooze in peace.  Hope all goes well at the vet visit today.

He has been to the vet and he is in fact a she! We have given her the title of Ms Bella White as befits a lady of her advanced age!! She is as well as can be expected for a 20 (ish) year old! She also has a pink rinse. Then again all the white cats has. It's the litter dying their fur.

;D :Luv:  I think Bella White suits her beautifully.  :)  She is just gorgeous as ever, whatever the gender.  She looks wonderful.  Reminds me so much of me darling Paddy when he was in his twilight years.    A pink rinse is pretty avante garde - very French, and very trendy.  ;)

I was so glad to read the update on dear Bella White   I had been wondering how she was progressing   I shouldn't worry about her weight as long as she seems OK otherwise   I have heard that kitten food is good for old cats as it is more easily digested  but I always fed senior food if it was accepted  I think love and care are best and I know she is getting plenty of that
 to her from Oscar and I

Oh Ron.  :evillaugh:   I'd certainly say at around 20, she's earned her degree.   ;)  With Paddy  in his last year, we just fed him whatever he would eat, and he looked very similar to the beautiful Bella White, body-weight wise.    Hope you managed to grab your spot on the bed last night.
