Aw, poor old thing, he would have died if he'd been left out any longer, the weather really has turned now (even down here in the south!). Have you given him a name?
Bless you Ron, if only there were more "mad" people around!

Aaaaw, thats brought tears to my eyes :'( He looks so sorry for himself!
Fancy dumping the poor fella..... Maybe his appetite will calm down once he realises he is getting fed regularly?! How old do you think he is?

He may well have hyperthyroidism, which could affect his appetite like that. bless him.
-
Thank god he's with you now Ron
-
the poor little lad is also stone deaf :(, he had a little wander around the garden today but soon came back to his bed next to the radeater he wont come indoors as he freaks out when he see other cats, but loves his own little house at least he gets all the best food and he is so happy to us for helping him and loves a little stroke now and again but he is so thin and still a bit :scared:

Peggy and rescue cat Oscar
-
Ron, I think your strategy of not messing him about too much is a sound one. I suspect what he craves more than anything is warmth, food and safety to snooze in peace. Hope all goes well at the vet visit today.
-
He's a handsome chap :Luv: :Luv:
-
aw bless :Luv2:
-
He has been to the vet and he is in fact a she! We have given her the title of Ms Bella White as befits a lady of her advanced age!! She is as well as can be expected for a 20 (ish) year old! She also has a pink rinse. Then again all the white cats has. It's the litter dying their fur.
-
;D :Luv: I think Bella White suits her beautifully. :) She is just gorgeous as ever, whatever the gender. She looks wonderful. Reminds me so much of me darling Paddy when he was in his twilight years. A pink rinse is pretty avante garde - very French, and very trendy. ;)
-
I am so pleased for Bella White I know you will give her all the love she needs
-
Bless her dear heart. Brought a tear to my eye, too. She reminds me of our Uncle M when he was her age. I wish he was still with us.
-
miss Bella white has now moved into the house, she has taken over the soffa and sleeps right in the middle s i am now sitting on a stool, she is a very grumpy old girl with my other cats, but does like to be made a fuss of but at about 20 year old Lady what do you exspect , i dony know what to do but she is really Boney but i wont take her to the vets to be pulled about she and is no longer in any pain she does sleep nearly all day but now a happy little old lady ;D well i am now off to bed if there is room for me i have five on my bed of a night  so what can you say
-
Bella sounds undeniabley gorgeous and knows how to move in, take over and get her own way :evillaugh: :evillaugh:
-
I was so glad to read the update on dear Bella White I had been wondering how she was progressing I shouldn't worry about her weight as long as she seems OK otherwise I have heard that kitten food is good for old cats as it is more easily digested but I always fed senior food if it was accepted I think love and care are best and I know she is getting plenty of that
 to her from Oscar and I
-
Oh Ron. :evillaugh: I'd certainly say at around 20, she's earned her degree. ;) With Paddy in his last year, we just fed him whatever he would eat, and he looked very similar to the beautiful Bella White, body-weight wise. Hope you managed to grab your spot on the bed last night.
-
I was wondering how bella was getting on the other day - glad she's making herself at home!!! :Luv2:
-
Glad to hear she's making herself comfortable. :Luv:
