Interesting article on Raw Feeding compared to Kibble

As far as raw, pork is not good I read somewhere but have no opinion on how true that is.

Forgive me if I'm being dense but why is fresh raw meat, which we as humans can consume quite safely for the most part, dangerous for a cat, which is an obligate carnivore and has a completely different digestive system equipped to deal with raw food?

She said because of Salmonella ! (tbh it was probably just a dig at Me) But I couldn't argue as she is the vet !

I also thought I'd read that cats don't suffer as much from food poisoning as their digestive tracts are so short.....

lol what a biased article.

I'm not knocking raw feeding as I'm sure it is very healthy but the ingredients listed in her kibble are nowhere near those in Orijen!

Answer is, it isnt dangerous! 

I've just had a cat in that had a part raw diet - My boss, a vet, was not impressed with it and said all meat should be cooked.
She said it is very dangerous to feed a cat raw meat

It would be more dangerous to cook it - very important nutrients are depleted by cooking.
