Well this lucky pair have found a new home already, before I had chance to get pictures or anything!

Sorry to disappoint so here's one of our recent kittens instead

Here's a happier story for you.

I was round and my friends' house on Saturday night. They have just had their second child (first is two years old) and they said the midwife was shocked when they said "No, the cat was here first, we intend to bring our kids up to respect her".

They're not 'crazy cat' people like us, just normal, responsible parents. Their two year old now plays really nicely with the cat who is incidentally quite old.

I'm not a big fan of kids but when you see really young ones having a genuine interest in an animal that goes beyond pulling tails it's very heartwarming.

I know its a bit different as I know that I don't want kids, but if I ever did fall pregnant, there is no way in the world I'd ever part with Max, or any future furbabe, to me Max is an integral part of my family and home.

It really does upset me so much when people use that as an excuse  :'(

I wish people would stop using crap excuses like this and just say 'I dont want my cats anymore can you take them please?' - they might not go as high up on the list as toher cases, but at least they would be being honest with us. Things like this remind me of Tom and Tiger, both at the vets at the age of 13 for pts with no good reason, luckily for them, my vet knows I take in oldies. I am glad these two are sorted now.

I had a call like that last week. She was covering all her bases so said she had moved from a house to a flat plus she had a 16 month old and she had to put the child first. She said the cats were weeing all over the place and wanted us to take them immediately. She had one of them for 5 years  >:( I asked which branch and she said Sheppey. I told her to call them first and if she was stuck, they would go on our waiting list. We haven't heard from her as far as I know.

These people don;;t deserve to have animals - i can never get the fact -either i am having a baby and the cats got to go /  or the excuse below - .
Why ????
Why have  :censored: :censored: :censored: kids if you are going to get rid of your pets ?
Why not re-home the flaming kids -they will be more trouble in the long run !

Well done CS for getting them away from that undeserving  :censored:. Even if there really was a genuine reason behind it, the email shows how throwaway these cats are to them  >:(

at least these kitties will now get a loving forever home  :Luv:
