I've been asked to help this young man find a new home as his owners are elderly and are struggling with the maintenance involved in caring for the breed. (They have two and have agreed they need to home one due to their trouble.) He's a very gentle boy and the VN who's asked for help finding a home said she can clip him while he's awake he's so gentle. He's always been an indoor cat and has lived with a dog but it chases him and he hides. Children visit but he's not especially used to them. He's neutered and flea treated and around 3. If you feel you may be able to offer him a home please message me.

OMG! he's so like my little BB (RIP), think its too soon for me though :( and he prob wouldnt like living with so many and he's too far away anyways...... :)
-
Is the other cat he lives with, a male?
-
Is indeed. They're brothers but there's no way the couple can cope with two and I think they feel they aren't so bonded it will cause too much upset.
-
oh , he is just :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2:
-
It does say he needs a top notch home Gillian - and I can;t think of anywhere more top notch than the Persian Palace................... ;) :shify:
-
I will admit, Gillian you were the FIRST person I thought of when she sent the photo and told me he needed a perfect home. (Seems the VN is a bit smitten with this boy and would keep him if her dogs were more cat friendly.)
There's always transport runs. But don't feel any pressure at all. I know you'd love him but you need to feel it's right.
-
who could resist that face :Luv2:

Goodness, how on earth did they choose which one to rehome? I mean, I'm looking around at my lot here and thinking....if I had to choose..... :(

I was thinking that too :(

I did wonder...and then decided "mine is not to reason why." No way I could imagine doing that either.
-
Well believe it or not - made enquiries and owners have decided to rehome the other brother instead  - and he's not a colourpoint, he's a solid cream from what I can make out (they called it beige, so can only think cream or poss blue-cream) - lovely too I'm sure, but, I think you all know my passion for colourpoints ;)
-
they don't know what they're missing!
-
Doesn''t sound like they know much about persians to be honest !
Poor boys - would love another -but with vet bill costs especially as mine are nearly all in their teens .
-
Thanks for updating Gillian - and sorry the owners are being so...whatever it is they're being! :tired:
-
hi, i have a home here if still needed
-
OK - if you're interested there are checks that need to be done and Laura would have the final say if she felt the home was right. Can you message me?

-
Which one are they homing now?
-
Gillian, have asked.
Have forwarded your details, slackmamf. :)
-
Brilliant , fingers crossed :thanks:
-
Feel until it's clarified which cat is up for rehoming (this boy or his brother) this thread should in effect "be suspended." (Don't worry, it's not anyone backing out. Just trying to ensure that people know which cat personality is needing a home!)
-
ok, but im quite prepared to take any,,this is not an issue unless of course the one wanting to be rehomed, doesnt get along with other cats,,,,,dont take too long now ;)
-
No problem - waiting for Laura to get back to me.
-
Laura's fairly sure it's the brother they've decided to rehome now. Sorry, no photos because she's run off her feet at work but he's Persian too. Just one colour, a light brown/beige I think she said.

Yes, she told me 'beige' - which I presume is cream (no such thing as a 'beige' persian lol! )
-
Thanks Gillian. ;)
-
still interested
-
Didn't you take on two more Persians in August?
-
I notice that 'GONE TO RESCUE' has been added to the title - I take it I can move this to sorted now?
-
Yes, thanks Janey.

Great thanks JS :)
