Title: Younge Burmese Kent way left in cattery! New home needed
Post by: Canterbury_cats (Sharon) on August 04, 2007, 22:15:51 PM
Oh my. Just had an email from one of our volunteers only know the basics as the moment. One year old Burmese left at cattery as he didnt get on with existing cats and needs to be rehomed on  his own. Rolo is vac (we think), and neutered.

Pls email me if you want to know more. I am trying to get more details as we speak.

Is it he didnt get on with the cats that he was with or them with him? donst mean to say he wont get on with different cats.

If it's the fosterer I'm thinking of, she runs a boarding cattery but reserves 2 pens for use by Canterbury CP. She's a diamond!  :Luv: Word seems to have got around that she supports CP and this is not the first time folks have got CP involved in cases through knowing her. Earlier this week, I took a call from one of her clients about a stray... I expect this poor puss was just dumped there knowing that it would come into CP care.  :shy:

Burmese's are notorious for not getting on with other cats ... they can be very headstrong and quite stroppy so he is probably better off in a home where he will be an only cat.

Our Burmese is very stroppy but she's learned to get on with 2 other cats and 2 kittens.

It can be done, but they do have attitudes.
