I want to say a big thankyou to all the purrs members who sponsored our Codie,

she really loved being up there with the cats,

the only trouble was they all wanted to sleep with her which did not leave her a lot of space to sleep herself

, But we all think she is great for lasting owing to the really bad winds and rain we had but she stuck it out and ended up making a wopping £1,400 50p and still has a few more pounds to come in, not many young people of her age would think of doing such a thing for all the little cats,WELLDONE CODIE

Codie has now spent her first night up in the pen with the howling wind and rain but she was snugged up on her zbed with electruc blanket and plenty of heaters to keep her and all the cats nice and warm. Elliot seems to have bagged the bed alongside Codie and didnt want any of the cats to join them, but they gradually all krept on her bed throughout the night

We will keep you posted!!!

P.S Codie is doing herself no favours as she told us she watcherd horror films on her IPad last night!!!! BRAVE GIRL!!!!

it's great to see someone so young involving herself in cat rescue - us mad cat ladies are so often perceived as daft old bats (sadly rather accurate in my case) but Codie is anything but

Bless her. A few fosterers from a new local dog rescue did the same....slept in the pound with the dogs overnight. Brave souls. Hope it raises some serious funds, Ron.

YES, we had the local papper up to take photos yesterday she has so far got over £200 in sponsors I will post the photos as soon i get some, i would like to thank every one who is sponsoring Codie, as i don't no many 18 year on girls that would give up there week end to do whats she is doing in this cold weather for the cats.

one of our volunteers is going to spend the weekend Dressed as a cat living with the cats up in the pen on 23/11/12 to raise money for our cats, she will eat and sleep up there and only come out to use the toilet

up untill the monday morning, so wish her luck
