As i just can't miss an oppertunity to fundraise for cat rescue :evillaugh: 100% of the sales excluding postage will go to an indvidual needy cat at one of our rescues on Purrs still to be decided by little ole me. :)
The normal type 1 stickers in both sizes are made by meself in our factory down south so if you would like to have one or a batch, please contact me with your order and i will let you know how to pay for them.
If you would like personized names on your sticker/s, please let me know which names with your order.
Thanks Tan

what a fantastic idea..well done to those involved.
as a continuation of that idea how and where would you find out how to get a lapel badge made..you know like the others that get done for charity ???
Um really dont know if this any use but i found this site online http://www.rocketcharity.co.uk/step-by-step.asp
looks like they make tie pin badges ?
-
I want some but have wicker carriers! I'll find somwhere to put them!
-
dawn on a hooded litter tray maybe if you have those ?
-
good plan!
-
;D
;)
-
just thought of another variation...fridge magnets !! ;D
-
Love this idea - cheap and cheerful!!!!!!
-
love the fridge magnet and badge idea - it would be nice to be able to pick out other members at shows and stuff!
-
Dawn, I am going to get purrrrrsonalized ones for all my cats and stick em on card to hang on my carriers depending who is in, that would work for you too I think ;D
-
yes that would be great!
-
I can make the stickers in a small credit card size for badges and glue a safety pin to the back for badges.
Good idea for fridge magnets too, i could glue a magnet to the back of any size sticker i suppose for that?
Great ideas thanks :)
I am collecting info about needy cats at the mo and will annouce which needy cat in a rescue i have picked to receive the funds from this small fundraiser asap.
;D
-
Oooh, I like the fridge magnet idea! You can get magnetic photo paper, I have Tiggy magnets on my fridge :)
-
OOO I like Fridge manget idea and the badges for the carriers! Nice one! one of Lexy one for Estella :evillaugh:
-
ok what about this idea for christmas time
http://www.rocketcharity.co.uk/product.asp?tp=soft%20toys&name=Soft%20Toys%20-%20General
obviously a cat not a lamb LOL with our purrs logo on it somewhere.
-
Great news Tannibal and I love the idea of fridge magnets, badges and keyrings (someone mentioned keyrings?)
So how do we order the stickers, or have I missed it :evillaugh:
-
Now what about Purrs teeshirts for the summer and fleeces for the winter - I spend a lot of time in fleeces and love teeshirts and would buy both - well tell Robin and drop some hints to others!
We could have an on-line shop to help raise proceeds for the rescues now that would raise lots of dosh but Tan is your house big enough for all the stuff!!!!!!
Will drop a line for car stickers!!!!!
-
Cooo ya all got ya thinking caps on then ;D ;D
Ok i've made a list of the sugesstions and see what i can come up with. T- shirts we can do and we already have Tshirt paper. Would it be best to have "I'm a Purrs cat" Or " Purrs cat forum member " on the t shirts?
Liz there is a way to have a shop intergrated with the forum as as add on but it turn it into a business then and outlays for stock and materials, so will need to think about that alot 1st. I do like the idea.
The things i can make from home like the stickers can be mostly 100% to the fundrasing and cheaper to buy ither stuff like the key rings, fridge magnets, car stickers etc need special materials so i need to look into how to make them.
If ya want to order the A5 or A6 stickers, email or PM me what stickers you would like with personalized names.
Will get back to ya asap with the other stuff.
-
All my kitchen appliances are integrated so I can't put my fridge magnets up anymore! :'( But I would love a car sticker.
-

-
Can ya help me out?
Which type of personalized Sticker style do ya like best?
1st one with a big Purrs Logo or 2nd with a little Purrs logo?
-
I prefer the second one personally.
-
I like the second one too - it's nice to have a bigger pic of the cat(s).
Have you decided on a beneficiary yet (apologies if, in my haste, I've missed the anouncement, quite possible this weekend)?
-
I like both but can see the merits of people wanting their own cats picture featured. Surely to do this is going to put a lot more work your way Tan,perhaps a little extra on the cost for individual photos?

Good idea Teresa. I would be willing to pay extra to see the Boys and Rascal on their own sticker :sneaky:
-
Thanks. :) Almost there i think Chris Just waiting till we fini the next step and then to discuss with me partner in crime 1st :scared:
Good point T. :Luv: We can do a combination in one pic of cats too and that will be a little more work than just one cat. We (weel my designing hubby Steve) is working on "stuff" for our next step. :shify: ;)
-
I know there are some who discussed this last night and have not posted but I like the first one because I like the bigger Purrs logo and being able to read the writing under the logo.
There are so many fantastic cats who are honored in that logo, and with a bigger logo people can see them ;D
-
i'm being thick (blame the medication not hair colour ) but will all the stickers have franta on them ? I cant see how you can do them with individual cats and that would cost a fortune wouldnt it ?
-
oh i think its the hair pursonally
however no, franta is just the example and the pursonalized ine will have the particular cat on ;D
-
although i think its a lovely idea to have the purrsonalised ones with our own cats on it wouldnt that prove to be more expensive and therefore make less money for the cause ?
-
Hi Lynn
Na the personalized ones don't cost any more to make than the plain ones we have already designed. All we do is put ya personal babes pic on it and print that off and make the sticker instead of just printing a plain one and making the sticker. ;D easy eh! :Luv:
I just waiting for the sticker pouches to arrive and i can make em :)
-
thats great then, i was only concerned about not making the most amount of money possible for the cause.
-
I was wondering if its possible to have personalised car stickers and if you have prices for them yet?? :)
-
Hiya Tammy
We will working on the car stickers this weekend and if all comes out well, me will post how much they will be.
Thanks hun

:thanks: Tan
:)
-
Hiya
Right had a go at home making the car stickers with special inkjet papers and it's not very easy to do without getting lots of air bubbles inbetween the papers to make the sticker so i have had a quote from our brill printers and they can do the sticker in Vynal (which is far better than inkjet paper) for £3.00 a sticker. Soooo i would sell them at £3.50 each (50p going to the rescues per sticker).
Would peeps buy them at that price or is this too expensive in which case we wouldn't do car or inside window stickers.
Whatcha think hunnies :)
-
I'd pay £3.50 for one. Maybe even stretch meself for 2!
-
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr must be two threads with same info on , so what about cost of P&P Tan, you must not lose money on these.
-
Hee hee yeah there are two threads to fool ya :evillaugh: :evillaugh:
The £3 includes the cost for me to post out to peeps (Scott gave me a quote of £2.50 per vynal sticker and is 48p to post out to peeps so if they sold at £3.50, .52p from each sale will go to the rescue fund.
The only thing is that these could not be personalized so would only be purrs as below.

-
I'll pay what you charge ( :evillaugh:) - but it depends on the beneficiary, hun
:Luv:
-
Hmmmmmmmm Blip, are some benificaries not good enough?
-
Id definitely get one.
-
Great Tammy thanks. But they can't be personalized ones unfortunatley just the Purrs stuff on them Like below.
Will start a new thread on the shop funds when it opens and the rescues we have to benifit.

When it comes to charitable donations, I reserve the right to decide whom I shall support based on my personal criteria
:Luv:
-
Tan
Thats ok. Id still get one.
-
I'm looking forward to having a lovely sticker for codys hood off his tray ;D
-
Oooh I love stickers! I want some! Can't decide whether to go for pursonalised or not... I'm thinking it will look cool on Menue's carry case and maybe even her litter tray? I'll have to have a think about it.
-
Dont think i would go for a car sticker, I have a nice black cat one and think that is enough - if I did decide to get anohter, am afraid I would go for a charity one rather than a forum one, even though I know the money goes to a cat charity. And, I am with Christine, it would depend on the benificiary too am afraid.
-
In the shop there will be a choice of Goods and the 100% of the profits will be given to Rescues on Purrs by rotation. All the rescues will be checked prior to going on the list as best as i can. Cat Chat does this with thier shop and gives their shop profits over to the next rescue every quarter, we can do this on a period basis as well but as the Purrs shop is smaller than CC's and that might mean one rescue gets a smaller donation than the next each quarter so i think the fairer way to distrube the profits would be for every £100 of profit to go to a rescue in turn. I will list each rescue which will get the £100 each time so you know when you buy something from the shop, you know who gets that profit at that time.
Do ya think that is a fair way?
Your thoughts are most welcome. :)
-
Tan I think that is a very good idea. So if there are people who will only donate to specific places they know when to shop otherwise shop till the bank account runs dry :)
-
Me and Kelly were discussing this when you first mentioned the shop, and we both agreed that doing it on a monetary level is fairer than quarterly.
-
Good idea Tan. Also if you want help doing checks I'll be happy to. R
-
Great Thanks Ruth. had any ecommerce experience? hee hee :shify:
Ta Des & Tam, yes i think the money set amount if better although the period of time it takes to get to that amount might be longer or shorter depending on sales and products purchased. :)
-
Maybe... ;) my fee is a cuppa hehe
-
:thanks: Tan
Quite looking forward to it now ;)
-
