Went to this rescue centre for their Christmas fayre today. I've mentioned them before, but they're still ace! Have posted a link to their site, and wanted especially to mention a rather gorgeous lad called Charlie. He's ten years old and truly adorable. He's not had a brilliant time but is just a wonderful boy. I was so tempted to ask to reserve him but common sense dictated against it. ;)
So without further ado, here's Charlie!

:Luv: Aww what a lovely lad JS.
You've just reminded me I've not been for ages, we went to a Christmas Fayre there a few years back and the donkey was waiting to greet everyone as they came in :Luv:
-
Aw, Charlie x
-
Not surprised you were tempted by Charlie :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2:
-
The donkey was there this year too, Janey. It's on again today for anyone interested. Until three.
And yes, very tempted. ;)
-
He reminds me of my Floyd
-
Aw, he's gorgeous! And yes - he does look very like Floyd ;D
-
Do you think Floyd would mind a twin? ;)
-
ha ha. Floyd is actually with my Grandparents now, as they stole him from me  They didn't really! They kindly offered to catsit him for a few months when I broke up with a partner and needed to find a new home. But he enriched their lives more than anyone expected and they're all the best of friends now, so as difficult as it was for me, leaving him with them was the best thing that happened to our family and I still get to see him.
I wouldn't mind a Floyd replacement though :naughty:
I think I'm a little way away in Manchester and I'm looking for an indoor only cat, or ideally to become a fosterer (Due to living in a flat).
-
Not sure how Thornberry works in terms of fostering. What I do know is there are two gorgeous black cats who were born there and are now 7 months old, bless them. They'll have never known outside.... ;)
-
Thanks! Is it Zac and Nora? I'll give them a call and see what they say (Not Zac and Nora, Thornberry!) ;D
-
It is. Zac has the most adorable almost brown fur around his mouth; it looks like he's been sneakily eating chocolate and got it smeared around his mouth!
-
Ah, we have much in common then :sneaky:
-
Emailed them to see if they home to Manchester. And about Millie and Mitch too as they're another pair of indoor cats that they have.
-
:) When we took pictures of the oldies a volunteer shouted be back and asked if I was the lady taking photos to be shared on the internet. I said yes and she asked us to spread the word about Zac and Nora. ;)

As the title has now been changed to 'HOMED' I'll move this now.
