Áille rua (pronounced awlya rooa) means beautiful redhead in Irish. She could go with Allie or Rua for short. Or Riona rua (pron ree oh na rooa) means red headed queen. She could be RiRi or just Riona.
Xxxx

How about Sonya after the film Red Sonya with Briget Nelson and Arnie.

There are the usual others - Sandy, Copper, Sapphire, Citrine, Fluffy.  How about something  of the long hair, like the Native American tradition for instance Sapphire of the long hair.

She is 10 sometime this year .
Not keen on being picked up and not keen on being groomed ,so,Pauline is coming to look at her coat tomorrow and bring her clippers.

Fifi ,unfortunately seems to be going downhill now, she looks like Sophie went , very thin !
Had her to,the vets twice a few weeks ago as I thought she had a sore mouth, but she seems to have gone downhill, since losing her eye last year. And the vet couldn't see anything wrong with it.
Mind you saying that I only think she is 16 , I was told she was 10 when I got her ,but as nothing to prove it, not even a vaccination card ,she could have been older or younger.
I am taking her back to the vet this week as she is hardly eating anything again and just sleeping .

Oh Gill.   "When sorrows come, they come not single spies, but in battalions."  Whatever time you and Fifi have left, I hope you get the opportunity to make the best of every moment.

Late update due to Winston not being very well tonight !
He was sick a little, but unfortunately it all came out the other end as well ! He has been fine all day as well.
So, a lot of cleaning had to be done, cat bed in bin and my trousers as somehow it went down them too !
All clean now and I had a bath and Winston has had some Aviproplus and seems ok now !
All bloody dramas lately !,

I don't think Persians are particularly fragile , its old age that's making them like this. I imagine in human years they are both around a hundred !
Both are almost 16 years old.

Ginnie, or. Foxy Roxy ! Certainly lives up to being a red head
There was a lot of choice language coming from her today !
Pauline says its because she is frightened and not really been groomed much before .
She has all what old coat was there combed all through and all belly and back end clipped .
She does look a stunner now .
Will post some pictures tomorrow as feel a bit shattered myself now .
She wasn't overly bothered about the noise of the clippers either and just turned away from us when she was finished and lay down and had a good wash .
Also put some flea stuff on here too.
She doesn't answer to her name or much else either . As she is very red , I quite like Foxy Roxy , but then I might have to find a  Ronnie too ! ( Eastenders if nobody knows why I said that )

Pav, I'll let Gill confirm herself but I'm quite sure you are right as I've heard her mention that before.

Gill I love Foxy Roxy and maybe you could get another cat and call her Randy Ronnie??  :naughty: ;)

Maybe she could be called Lady?

Yes 16 is a good age but I dont consider that old LOL..........Sasa is about 16!

as moggies who are just touas longdont live I think pedigrees

I dont think pedigrees live as long as moggies and 16 used to be a good age for birmans but many living past that...........napoleon nearly 18 and ducha 19.

sending winston loads of good vibes
