That's such a shame  :(  Hopefully a space will come up soon so this little one can have a chance of a new life.

In the meantime, I would say keep doing what you're doing in feeding and looking out for him.  Have you seen him today?

I don't think any warrington rescues have any space for him  :( just rang three and all said they are full to the brim  :'(

I need somewhere for him to go before I can trap him  :(

Thats really nice of you Angie - I would need someone to get back to me before I trap him though, cause i'd have a caught kitty and nowhere to take him!

Just spoken to Phil, he is off on Monday - so if I can ring round some rescues tomorrow and get someone in Warrington who will take him, I can set the trap Monday and get Phil to come and collect him and take him to whichever rescue when he is caught... does that sound like a plan?

I'd love to see him go somewhere he will be looked after - and get him healthchecked  ;D they must keep the name Charlie now though  :evillaugh:

I looked the lady's name up on the internet, and she isn't even site manager, she is just manager of one of the departments!

So a big fat  :P to her.

Still nothing from the rescue. I will give them another call today  :shy:

You'd never believe it though - I got back from the gym, and under my car it was as if it had been raining cat biscuits - very strange indeed  ;)

Well I am sure a certain feral won't be going hungry today anyway  ;D
Bit worried about what he will eat over the weekend though  :'(

If they say you must stop then maybe the RSPCA could be mentioned. Knowingly leaving a stray animal to starve must be worth a ticking off. I hope the rescue get back to you soon.

I could only leave him a bit of dry today even though he prefers wet because I cant really use the bowl as it will be more obvious  :( still nothing back from the rescue...

I parked my car on the opposite side so that nobody can see under my car from the pathway unless they actually make a big effort - where I was before you could see the food when you were walking by. I dont see how someone could be so cruel as to tell me to stop doing it though.

Its shocking how little regard a lot of people have for cats. When we rescued Meg and Tabitha I couldn't believe how many people said 'don't worry, they're only cats, they'll be fine'  >:(

Miseries  >:( >:(

Just leave some biscuits under the car for him. Poor little fella.

I did this when I worked at my other place, leave food out for them. I couldn't not do it, it was something that HAD to be done. I just hope they are ok now I don't work there any more.

I would try leaving the food in a more secluded place, out of the way where no one can see, when he gets comfortable with the spot it should be easier to catch him.

I have also been left feeling like a crazy lady when trying to help a cat out, I don't care.  :shy:

Well, when I got told off for feeding him the woman said "we had a feral problem a few years back and dont want them encouraged"
then sounded like she thought the idea of me calling a rescue was incredulous - so I didnt ask what they did about the feral problem!

Just been told that he does get fed though, scraps from the estates lads lunch, and he catches mice. Had no call back from the rescue yet :(

(just editting to say "not all cats are cut out to be ratter's....also if they are ill looking they should still be trapped and vet checked)  ;)

It is them that are daft for not realizing the implications of leaving poor Charlie in the car park and not realizing how better quality his life would be once re-homed. I would suggest you say nowt ;D and continue to try to solve the situation ASAP. We are an animals voice and I am sure if Charlie could speak he would be saying please get me out of here.

I gave him wet yesterday which he hoovered up before I got back to the bowl - I want to put out food today but I dont think I could put it in the bowl - I did think about leaving a little pile  or there are lots of greenery bits so maybe put the bowl in a bush and I am sure he would smell it?

I did think about putting out a water bowl Ela, but I am afraid they will tell me off again now  :'( I know car park isnt the best place for him, but people seem to think I am a bit daft/overreacting by wanting to do something about him and have told me to just leave it (don't worry I wont)

I would be tempted to give him wet rather than dry in case he can't get a good enough water intake. But, fingers crossed the rescue can help you, as it would be better for him to be trapped and sorted. Bless you for caring though.

Living in a car park is not in a cats interest.

Defo not good for cats underneath cars all day........the fluids that can leak from a car are highly toxic even fatal to a cat.... :(

I think I would skip the bowl and just 'accidentally' spill some dry on the ground every time I got out of the car ...

I agree with blackcat .... it's amazing how much dry cat food can "just fall out of your pocket into a nice little pile under your car" when you get out  ;)

Charlie has picked at the food today (dry PAH chicken flavour) not eaten too much though  :( I think I will try him on wet food tomorrow (my three will be jealous )

He has taken up home next to my car though, in the sun  :Luv: love him  ;D

Been in touch with a lady from the cat rescue CHAR in Warrington and she has given me a number to call to arrange for him to be caught and taken in and rehomed - it sounds silly but I will be sad to see him go  :( wish I could pet him!

My colleague called me to say he was eating the food so I went out and he hadn't had much, he got scared by someone pulling up in a car (grr)

He was interested when I got the bowl out nearer to him and started calling him - but then someone walked along the path he was on and he ran off  :( he so skinny.. I hope he comes back for the food, I have put it back under my car.

Not sure if he is neutered - do you think I should ask CP what they think about trapping him etc? I know someone who works in the local CP and she helps run the neutering mobile unit every week so she might want to come and try and get him.

I would certainly trap him, and have a vet give him a MOT flea and worm and the if it were in our town we would put him in a barn until safe to release on the farm until a home could be found.
