There is a lot more to this than meets the eye, but I think its best if the matter is laid to rest.

2 kind people from this forum sent £10 donations for Holly via paypal which I will gratefully put towards caring for the other rescues if that is ok.

The important thing is that Holly`s life has been saved and as of yesterday afternoon she was making good progress though not totally out of the woods.

From what I understand from the other forum this cat's Dad turned up on monday and is now paying for the surgery so Teresa and the OP are now excluded from knowing anything

Last I hear Holly who is actually called Splodge apparently was doing well.

My cynical self is wondering why he took so long to find his cat but I guess he turned up and is paying so I must shut up.I do hope he says a big thank you to Teresa and the OP without whom his cat may not be here today.

Holly is doing ok this morning and trying to move bless her; the vet is going to keep her hospitalised over the weekend and hopefully if she is able to stand on Monday she will be able to come home.

Holly has come through her op but is still very drowsy,it was a long op but vet is pleased with the way it went,hopefully I will be able to pick her up tomorrow evening or Saturday morning, will know more tomorrow morning.
I thank God for her little life and thanks to Kats inc for posting of her plight.

Update
Holly has a broken pelvis and needs a sacral illiac screw fitting, the is a slight chance that she could lose a leg but only slight. She is currently receiving pain relief and everything necessary to keep her comfortable, she will be having her operation on Thursday.
So prayers and positive vibes for her please.

Update
This little one is a little brighter this morning but has not made any attempt to try and move. We have authorised treatment and should have an update this afternoon, until Xrays are done we are unsure as to the extent of the damage. Everything possible will be done for her.

Sorry, I managed to miss this, but am so glad there will be a happy ending for this little one, and it just goes to show what we can do when we pull together, lets hope between us and The Refuge, we can help more needy cats. I know when my vet has contacted me over sick cats brought in 'without an owner', they dont always have an issue in paying for it, their problem is the fact that cat hasn't got a home - none of the staff at mine can take anymore, so unless they have a rescue willing to take the cat on, they are unable to save the cats life cos they have no place for it to go after. They have been willing to do more for the £50 from the RSPCA, as long as someone can take the cat on after.

Both the vets I use have done surgery on cats after an RTA and not been paid for it. One of them had a cat in that had to have a leg amputated, no one came forward and the cat was rehomed with one of their clients so not all are bad
