Thanks Gill, I'll try that.  She was sitting on the bathroom scales earlier cos Ollie had scared her, but I couldn't see the dial and she ran before I could touch her.

I think you just need to be patient cos you have not had her long.  have you tried weighing her and then start keeeping a record and weigh her say once a month,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I bet you will find she is putting on weight  ;D

Does anyone have any suggestions to help Portia to put some weight on.  We have had her for 3weeks now and she eats well.  Oliver tries to elbow in so I've taken to putting her food where she is sitting and then she can finish it in peace.  She is just such a skinny little thing and still very, very nervous.  You can feel all her bones if you get near enough to touch her.  She was at the vets last week for jabs etc. and the vet said she will put the weight on but it worries me - she looks so skinny.  She has been wormed.
