I shouldnt take the p*** (or maybe I should, considering the topic ... :evillaugh:) but it did seem to me if she could convince a cat to eat fresh dandelion leaves she might be a useful friend to have  :sneaky:

Well dandelion is a diuretic - its recommended on the feline heart group as a safe, gentle diuretic for cats with heart fialure. Mind you, I'm amazed the cat actually ate the fresh leaves - I buy the powdered stuff and sprinkle on Sam's food.  :) - can't see him eating the fresh leaves!

Dandelion Leaves to make a cat pee?

I was over the road earlier chatting to Belinda the herbalist. She said a friend of hers cat just had kittens ( >:(  don't worry, I had words and offered vouchers) and the mum hadn't peed for a couple of days. Belinda advised her to put dandelion leaves down. Apparently the cat ate the leaves and is now peeing. Whether the two things are connected, I have no idea  :evillaugh: (she is like a witch brewing up concoctions over there  :evillaugh: )

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain
