Just added some of her ashes to Missy's grave, it's taken Me a year but today felt right.

When reading it I can see that I did all I could for her but as you say there are always the "what if's" ......
Its also nice to see that she had so many good days too, they deff out weighed the bad ones...

Doesn't work for me. I find myself thinking of what ifs that wouldn't really have been fair but would have extended how long I had my babes around. I then drive myself to distraction trying to figure out how selfish that would've been, and whether I gave up too easily. It's horrible, so I try to focus on what I had with them before their illnesses and think about how content they all were.

I look at my Rainbow Bridge posts but find it hard to think about when my lost babes were ill before I lost them, so haven't braved reading any posts about that. I think it would hurt too much.

There are no words, except that you did your best to help her, and the grace to let her go when she'd had enough. I was there in July and it is a horrid place to be and you will always miss them. Please concentrate on the happier times you shared.

I am still so heartbroken, cant believe she isnt here anymore...its her 6th Birthday day, my baby didnt quite make it
