Hi &  :welcome: to Purrs

I think the best thing to do would be to start from scratch again as if you were on day one.  Have a look at this link http://www.wizz-catz.co.uk/introducing.html It's written by an animal behaviouralist who runs her own rescue so is top advice.  Another thing to consider is getting some Feliway which is basically a plug in (odourless) of calming cat pheromones, you can get it from the vets but it will be much cheaper online...

Help! Introducing new cats
« Reply #1 on: August 12, 2008, 21:44:44 PM »
Hi,

I've got a 16 year old male (Dante - healthy but quite possessive) and I'm introducing a new cat into the equastion (Lilah - 8 years old and a little thin)!  It was all going smoothly
but then I left the door open to the spare room where she was and he ignored her.  We went and sat in the living room and she entered.  he went wild and I had to separate
them with towels - she poo'ed herself in fear and I've had to clean the walls as it was sprayed up up them.

I've only had her four days so it was a bit soon but it all seemed to going well.  What do I do next?

All advice welcome as I am desparate and rather upset.
