Hi,
I'm looking for a couple of cats (or two seperate cats that will adjust to each other) preferably young adults or kittens, but will consider up to 7 years old. Especially interested in bengal and siamese or similar breeds or crosses that are part one of these breeds, but willing to consider any suitable cats. Specifically looking to avoid heavy shedders though, had one before and it drove me to distraction that I couldn't even pet her without ending up coated in hair. Willing to consider FIV positive for the right cat if I can find a pair that both already have FIV as I don't want to just take a single cat, I'd like two.
I am in a three storey house on a quiet street in Lambeth. I am self employed, 34 years old and work from home most days. I have had cats all my life and have experience with the bengal breed. I am happy to keep cats indoors, the house has plenty of space with them, or if they are cats that you think should be let out we have an enclosed back yard adjoining onto a triangular area of gardens. There are a few other cats who live around here and they all seem happy and friendly.

Hello there.
I am not sure what you mean by enclosed garden.. But if you mean there is an area that is safe for a cat to roam outside in a pen that is enclosed in your garden. Then Rolvenden Rescue in Kent have 2 Bengal (pure Bengal) brothers in care for over a yr. One has a ongoing spraying problem that is being given meds for but the reason they have had them for so long is that they are now looking for someone to take both on that have an enclosed outside run for them. they are young cat and were for the first few months of life kept in a rabbit hutch, which is probably why this problem occured. They are typical Bengals and very people orientated.
You will find Rolvenden Rescue under Kent section of Catchat..

There's a bengal boy needing a home with Blackpool Cats in Care too. He's very dominant though, so if you want two cats that might be an issue.

Can I ask where it says this is sorted? Have I missed something....again. :shy:

JS , I wondered about this too, I checked over the thread and Mrs R has edited the first post so I thought maybe she had moved this or you? :-:
-
Nope, I've not moved it....well, not when I'm awake anyway!
-
Very strange because there's no indication why it's sorted :-:
-
Move it back perhaps? Or message OP?
-
I'll leave it as I've a feeling that OP has pm'd Mrs R but I've pm'd Mrs R to check as she edited it.

Cool. :)
