Missing cat "Roo"
Roo went missing on the 22nd of October, Brompton Road area Southsea Portsmouth.
He's an adorable and very friendly cat, will approach strangers.
We're missing him very much.
He (usually) has a collar and name barrel, he is also chipped #978000000473418.
If you have any news, good or bad please contact me on 07775 580884

Hi mantonb,
I live very close to you. I'll keep an eye out as I know all my local cats and can spot an outsider.....
Have you stuck up posters/posted leaflets and registered on the nationalmissing pets register? Thats how my RW was found a month later....
Dont' give up hope, of the 2 cats who went missing at the same time as RW, I know that one other has returned safe and well. The lady at my local corner shop knows i'm a crazy cat lady and gives me the latest...
Have you checked Highland Cemetary? I would go over there late at night and call. It's a ideal 'cat' place....
I take it that the microchip company have informed all local rescues and vets? If not theres a list of the local rescues at http://www.catchat.org/adoption/hants.html (http://www.catchat.org/adoption/hants.html).
Good luck, will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Thank you for your replies.
We won't give up on him, been all around the local area (including the cemetery) looking for him but no luck so far.
On the flip side I suppose no news is good news.

:wow: He's home, turned up in the neighbors sock draw of all places!
We are obviously greatly releived that our furball has returned home safe and sound!
Here's to all the other lost moggies turning up safe!

I can only assume so. I must say they were very apologetic as they were one of the first places we asked about Roo (usual student house hold, heating on doors / windows open).
Most of the students had been on a long weekend including the owner of the sock draw in question, although the one student that did stay apparently phoned a friend saying she thought "something" was in the house! :shify:
