Calm down, calm down!   :Nooooo:

It was me who changed it but I've got rid of it now since a few of you are getting upset.  Having chocolate censored to healthyfood has been in action for most of the time Purrs has been around - so several years then - and it's always been a fun feature of purrs, imo.  Originally Tan changed it (or maybe it was Gill) years ago, and it just never got changed back.  Since then, when it's been mentioned, we just kept the "censor" as it was considered amusing by most people.  Easy enough to explain to newbies that we prefer to talk of healthyfood rather than chocolate here on Purrs  ;D    Most of that has been done by Gill (with encouragement from me!) but when it was pointed out to Tan recently, she got rid of it (unaware of the fact that we kept it that way deliberately).  I changed it back for a joke but if people are getting upset then I guess we'll just go back to plain, old chocolate  ;D  So untwist your knickers, peeps - you have your chocolate back  ;D

Good job lots of other words aren't censored or we would be typing all night  :rofl:

Aw Den, I am sure Purrlicious is greatful for your comments about choc and not giving it to cats.  Unfortunately like many of our posts we tend to get off track and forget about the subject we started with..

Mary  :hug:

Oops, sorry Mary. I was moaning about the fact when I posted it made sense because the censorship filter had been removed. So I could type in c.h.o.c.o.l.a.te without all the stupid dots inbetween letters. But since I posted the filter has gone back on, so now it all reads as healthyfood - and that isn't what I wrote so it is frustrating.

Not moaning about getting off-topic  :hug:

I have been getting annoyed about it but put it down to my nerves being frazzled due to "end of year pressure at uni = no sense of humour" (a balanced equation  :shify: )

Tan said the other week that it was a little joke at the beginning but time it was taken off which she did - so I don't know why someone took it upon themselves to reinstate it  :Crazy: - I see what you mean about the health issue thing. New people on purrs understandably won't get the "joke".

I must be getting grumpy in my old age, but I'm finding the censorship thing frustratingly annoying now. I was trying to explain why feeding this censored item to cats can be dangerous. When I posted, my posts made sense and now they don't [unless you are in on the 'joke']. The subject matter of what I posted isn't something to joke about, so it just all seems so wrong to me and very unfunny  :(

healthyfood  Weird .....   We can have more than one it seems - but healthyfood* is still censored  :Crazy:

* healthyfood

Trouble with threads like this is - of course - someone reads them, catches on to what we can get away with (I could do the plural - choc0lates - but not singular ch0colate) and STOPS US!!!!!

And now Ive discoverd that what I used to type ch then a 0 colate is now "censored" too!!   :rofl:

I consider it distinctly unfair that as much as I love choco olate, preferably dark choc olate, that if too much is consumed I get an almight migraine.   :'(
