I still can't work out how they can call it a large when it is the right size for a 2.5kg cat  - unless the manufacturer put the wrong tag on it, which is unlikely?

She loves it so much that she didn't even follow me to bed last night. I'm not sure if that is a good or bad thing.  :evillaugh:
Cats aren't silly and I can't blame her for staying in the warmest, cosiest place  :Luv2:

awww Willow  :Luv2: I don't think I've seen a really close up of her and she does look so happy in that lovely bed  :Luv2:

We bought Byron an igloo bed a couple of weeks back from PAH which she loves - I'll post a pic later, but I do like Willows Mark it looks so cosy.
I have given so many beds away in the past to rescues, I still have a couple in the garage, a wicker one and a large one (which Smokey and Timmy used) and a donutty type one.

The new bed is a firm favourite  :) - Last night she was sitting on OHs chest, which can be a bit annoying when you are trying to do something on the laptop. She kept eyeing the igloo and ending up spending the whole night in it  :Luv2:

Well Willow came down this morning and headed for her new bed  :Luv2: - It beats her burrowing under the fleece on the sofa as I always forget she is there and sit on her  :-[

Love that bed Mark. Really plush.

Just counted & have 11 beds + sofas & my bed, all for 6 cats!

Funny but it wouldn't scan. The man asked his supervisor what to do. She looked it up in a book and said it was a Large animal house. I laughed and said no way was it large as Willow is tiny and would just fit in it. She agreed and said it must be marked wrong and it is a small. I just looked at the tag and it is Large - apparently. SO I got a £36 bed for £20  ;D - I can't inagine how small a small would be in that case

Here is Willow's latest. She has a heated bed and a cow print chillicat donut bed in the bedroom, a donut bed in the dining room, another donut bed in the basement and now this   - that is without all the beds the others have   - I think this will be a favourite being enclosed. She does like the heated bed that she inherited from Alice. If I find a heated igllo, she will be over the moon  :evillaugh:

PS - Love the pic Den  :Luv2:

I'm about to give up on beds for everyone  :scared:

Memphis consistently ignores his 3 beds, instead he chooses to mostly sleep on Molly's bed, my clothes/blanket or my bed.
Molly consistently ignores her bed, choosing to sleep on the furniture. Apparently the floor just won't do  :-:
Mig has one of Mollys old beds (which she didn't use) outside in his run.

And then because Memphis' beds remain unused this happens ...

Soooooo I have a dog who sleeps on the human things, a cat that sleeps on dog beds and a rabbit who prefers both cat and dog beds and wees on his own [he has a really lovely handmade quilted hammock and refuses to use it]  :scared:

Maybe if I label them they will all use their own beds instead of each others ...

I must say though I do love the black camouflage Igloo bed  :shify:

lay me down, let me go, feeling heavy the ground is cold,
lay me down take it slow I'm ready to stumble, sing & then swing low

I have two expensive wicker beds on top of the wardrobe - the cattery likes to have these sent with the cats - and they both climb up to them regularly

but I find the best bed is a single duvet, for £10 from Argos - I fold it over lengthways and put it on my bed during the day, and move it to the sofa when I go to bed - as well as being washable (I put a cover on it)  and cheap it has the advantage that they can crawl inside if it's cold

I currently have 3 beds for 2 cats but I want to get them another one for Christmas - was going to give one of the other beds that they don't really use to the Edinburgh Cat and Dog Home if they wanted it along with some unused toys/tree scratcher.

2 cats 8 beds...4 of them receive regular use though so not a bad ratio :evillaugh:  Milly's night time preference at present is on one of my screwed up old jumpers next to the bed.  Put a nice snuggly cosy cat basket right next to it, has she slept on it?  Nope of course not

I got a fabulous igloo bed off ebay -the lady that does them is really reasonable and they are really well made - i bought a big one -but its big ! You would get a medium size dog in it comfortably , small is purrrrrfect size .
Can send details if anyone is interested and she does them in your choice of colour- they are made of fleece and quite sturdy too.

Saying that, I would like a chili bed from TK Maxx and an igloo bed might go down well.

Despite my cat to bed ratio being 4:1 I feel the need for an igloo bed too, am resisting for now but I wouldn't be surprised if they had one for before Xmas  :evillaugh:

Hi I have four cats and three beds!! I know I sound meanbut I have two others in the shed.  They only like the fleace bed (bought in NEC Cat show I might add), the sheepskin pretend bed and the cat scratcher bed that doubls as a lookout post, back stretcher and gym.  The bathroom sink makes a good bed and so does my bed.  They are partial to the top of the kitchen cupboards and the top of my wardrobe.  Saying that, I would like a chili bed from TK Maxx and an igloo bed might go down well.

  yes , i am sure i have - it seems to go in phases - scratching posts, beds , cat dishes, heat pads , food etc etc.
I know i have 5 cats -but i only lodge here !!  Talk about spoilt - Winston has even had breakfast in bed on several occasions !!
When i get round to starting on myself it goes a bit the same -only cheaper - slippers , hot water bottles , socks, underwear, t-shirts, etc .
Must admit - i have had some really lovely cat beds off ebay though and not expensive either- usually around £16 delivered.

Looks like someone's been investing in Russell Hardy!

Don't blame you - I went for his Colossus, and my sister is tempted by the Martello bed tower you have, but is afraid her BSH girls would each lean out of the bed they were occupying  and swat the next cat down....

We have none as there is no point - Jameson will only sleep on the bed or the sofa. But at least he goes on his snuggly blankets so it's easy to wash/remove fur etc.

One tree, one bed in a wardrobe, one cushion in a wardrobe, one furry igloo that I made - and only one cat!  My thing is fleece blankets for her, I have loads.  Her particular favourite is one I got in Tescos, although I have now seen them in other places - it's sort of a cross between fleece and faux fur and Silvie absolutely loves it.  She does that pounding thing with her paws and claws every time she sets foot on it.
Having bought a sewing machine earlier this year, I'm going to have a go at making a few more things for Silvie and the guinea pigs.  A much betters ense fo satisfaction than giving all my hard earned to PAH, even if they don't sit in/on them!
