Blimey Teresa!, No wonder she looks nervous, I've heard of the leaning tower of Piza but that's something else!, if I was her I'd have turned the cat bed upside down and taken shelter inside it.

I think there is something of the "V" sign to it, so it does seem to sum up most cats attitudes

Hi Chris, I don't know about the general viewer but it is certainly more accessible to my cats  ;D

Yes, I must say that I like that equally as well, Leigh, and it is perhaps more accessible to the general viewer?

Cheers

Has quite a relaxing effect on me and a nice warming glow, yes really like it but would be much improved with one of my cats asleep on top.

Yes I can see it now Fort Minimopsical

I also quite like that  ;D

I am confused however , she has called her sculpture a name in Czech but has dumped the female end off her name which should be Knedlikova or Knedlkova, accent over the a at end of course  :shify:

Of course we know a cat has in its soul the desire to be pampered and well fed  ;D

Great arts often leave much up to the imagination of the viewers for their own interpretation.

I am completely speechless.

and my comment leave much up to the imagination of the viewers for their own interpretation.

Actually, Leigh, may I confess that I rather like it?  :shy:  Although I am not sure that it speaks to me of the soul of a cat  ;)

Hi folks,

Let me draw to you attention to this year`s Turner Prize entry by the internationally renowned émigré Czech artist  and sculptress Růžena Knedlik entitled "Pocta do Soulu na kočku" which translates roughly as "Homage to the soul of a cat". I quote from the online Arts magazine "Art Matters". "The 3.5m sculpture cast in bronze depicting six opened cat food boxes is said by the artist to represent the innermost representation of the cat".

Now I know that it has become "de rigeur" to have an piece of abstract art gracing one's wall or garden, we've had car tyres, unmade beds but seriously I've now seen it all"

Cheers

Leigh
