I also had to give flea bathes to Hobbes, my former furry.  He was a fairly good size (though not quite as Oliver), too.  He would let out a blood curdling yowl just to let the entire neighbours know what a cruel sadistic demon I was and kept it going until we finished, however he stayed there without turning violent, he was an extremely docile boy.

But I am not sure if I can ever gather up the nerve to do 4 of them... wishing you the bestust of luck!

done spot on. treated carpets. They are ragdolls and i found the spot on worked a little but the long fur soaked up most of the treatments.

Honestly. Im only bathing as a last resort.

I know what pandemonium could ensue.

If I remember correctly Gillian who lives with a school of furry Persians is an expert at it... hope she will find this thread and comes to the rescue soon!

Good luck!!

I would just deflea them with a spot on from the vets.  Cats really don't need to be bathed as they are more than capable of keeping themselves clean.  If you choose to bath them all, good luck  :evillaugh:

Im just about to bathe all 4 cats for the first time due to fleas.

Im thinking of getting in bath with each cat and using shower.

I will trim their claws first to avoid injury.

Please anyone, is this the best way or do you have any other suggestions.

Im just warming the bathroom up first.

This feels very daunting. Especially the ragdolls as they might get feisty.

Many thanks. Any info/suggestions appreciated.
