ANYONE IN POMPEY OR NEAR POMPEY
WHO COULD TAKE IN A FEMALE CAT CALLED SAFFY WHO IS 1 AND A HALF
SHE DOESNT LIKE OTHER ANIMALS SO SHE WOULD HAVE TO BE IN A ROOM ON HER OWN
SHES BEEN ABUSED IN THE PAST >:(
I WAS THINKING IF SOMEONE COULD RESCUE HER AND KEEP HOLD OF HER UNTIL CPL COULD TAKE HER IN AND FIND HER A PROPER HOME
ID HAVE HER HERE BUT SHE WOULD HATE IT WITH 7 CATS AND A DOG
IM WAITING FOR A EMAIL BK FROM HER OWNER

Im currantly trying to talk saffys owner round
as she thinks saffy will have more chance of finding a home on gumtree than in rescue >:( :(
shes only been with this lady since sunday
shes been passed around a bit
and kicked by yobs
yet she is still so friendly with people
shes also very thin and underweight
im praying her owner will listen to me and take my advice

the lady wants to talk to her partner about me offering to help
as her partner was going to ask around work to see if anyone wants a cat
ive told her to contact me anytime and i will arrange for a rescue to take her in instead of being offered on the net >:(
i keep looking at her pic
if only she was ok with other cats and dogs then id go and pick her up today
shes only 5mins away from me
its so frustrating :(

more updates :
saffy isnt spayed either
and she had a litter a few months ago
and the person who use to mistreat saffy badly hurt one her kittens and it had to be pts due to internal bleeding ,
the lady has 5 cats of her own i hope she dont have any unneutered boys :Crazy:
i better ask her
thats if shes not already bloody pregnant as she was going out in her other home
i just wish she would give me the go ahead to ring up the rescues

ive gotta wait till after 8 tonight when the ladys oh comes in before i know if she will let me help or not
the ladys own cats have been neutered and saffy is an indoor cat so at least she wont get pregnant while she is stopping there
i dont think shes given her enough time to settle in with her own cats b4 putting her on gumtree for rehoming but thats just my opinion .
will update when i know more later on

Your so :censored: right. when we took Tabitha on 8 years ago she had, had her front paws tied together and been thrown through a basketball net :censored: :censored: :censored: they had 8 bunnies too that 3 had fly strike and 2 dead baby bunnies underneath all the rotten straw........... they had also been kicking her about. I had her two weeks and a £1500 bill she had a twisted small and large intestine and a tube leading to her liver was blocked and the waste was leaking into her bloodstream...............and a tooth removed
I think that a law should be bought into place that whatever is done to these poor defencless animals the same is done to the scum :censored: that inflict the pain and suffering

I agree smudge. An eye for an eye. If they are mentally ill, they should be in hospital, otherwise the punishment should fit the crime. It scares me, you can walk down the street and see people that look ordinary but what is going on their heads? :Crazy:

Lisa, if transport could be arranged and the owners agree, I can talk to my partner. We do have four cats already, but if she wasn't integrated properly there's a chance she won't mind once she realises she's safe. (I guess it's worth considering.)

oh how awful I really hope you can get this girl before she is put on gumtree what with the fur trade in the uk at the moment it doesn't bare thinking about where she could end up.

Could you foster her for local rescue while they advertise her? That way the lady who has her at the moment won't have to "put her in rescue" or "advertise her" but can feel assured she's living safely with you and will only be rehomed to somewhere thoroughly homechecked and vetted...

i hope it was someone half decent
i did try my best to persuade the woman to do it my way but obviously she prefered to do it her own way >:(
im going to email bk in a min and ask what kinda home she went to etc
thank u jack for wanting to help and offering to take her it was very kind of u
but i doubt her owners would of been able to get her up to where u r
and i dont have a car so i couldnt of done anything to get her to u
i hope she went to someone nice where they will love her and look after her .

Do you think you will get the truth? Even then unless a home visit has been done by someone who knows what to look for I bet they don't what type of home it will have gone to.

saying the people from the hubbys work isnt sure if they will take her now and that she might take me up on my offer if they let her down but shes worried a rescue would put saffy to sleep if she didnt find a home ,i explained cpl would never do that !
ive told her about jacks offer too

This poor little cat was definitely advertised on Gumtree a few days ago.....just checked and the ad is still there :(

Received and email sent. :)
I've also asked her to consider smaller local rescues if she feelsshe can't keep Saffy. Less travelling is probably better for her, but I'm still there for her to come to if needed.

Aww, Lisa. I hope not too, but some people say things just to sound reasonable. (ie: "I'll let you know one way or the other.") Hopefully I'm wrong and she just doesn't check her emails very often!

That would pretty much confirm my suspicion of her rehoming Saffy and not letting you know, to be honest. It's a long time for someone to keep a cat they wanted to rehome and not take the help offered.

but still feel i could of done more

then handed her over to a rescue myself
like im doing with tabs ;)

Y'know when being dishonest doesn't come naturally it's not the first thing you think of to do!
