Title: Hello!
Post by: papa cat on December 21, 2022, 18:46:37 PM
Hello, I'm papa cat another migrant from Cat Chat Forum
I live in South East Kent and I am a 'senior gentleman' who has had three cats over about 15 years. Some have overlapped and I have sometimes had two cats at once but my last was PTS on 4 November 2022. I am currently looking to rehome another cat to fill the empty flat.

I have been looking for a way to view new posts since last visit (as other php forums have) but I can not find it. Is it an available option, is it hidden ?

Hello

Glad you've made it. Not sure if it's due to being new, but for me, at the top left hand of the screen I have a blue box with Purrs Member Info, and a picture, at the side of that there are 3 options for new posts. If this makes no sense, I'll have a go at doing a screenshot for you.

That seems to only give the choice of viewing unread posts and new replies to my posts.
I have found it though, it's at the bottom of the main board, see below

I think the trouble is nowadays everyone has moved onto different social media platforms. Purrs does have a facebook page and alot of the old members are on there https://www.facebook.com/groups/91388455703

We also have a section that is only visible once you have made a certain number of posts (sorry, can't remember how many!). It's not terribly active, but a handful of us do chat on there.
