Mosi is completely better now.  Eye looking fine, furball coughed up (yuk) and he's back to his usual bouncy, naughty ways.

His eye is looking normal now.  It was never terribly gunky, just pink and swollen eyelid and he was holding it closed.   Then the pink eyelid turned a teeny bit scabby but it looks healthy now.  Poor lad is furballing at the moment and naughty meowmy let him run out of furball treats but he is sorted with that now.

Ahhhh bless him .... I'm sure he will be ok in a day or so.  Zephyr had a poorly eye the other month all gunky and sore looking but I bathed it for him and put off taking him to the vet as I wasn't due to be paid for a couple of days  :scared: and it certainly wqsn't life threatening or hurting him and low and behold within 3 days he was fine and dandy with no further problems.
In ancient times cats were worshiped as gods; they have not forgotten this.

His eye is still a bit sore and closed but it's much better than it was so I'm holdign off with the vet for now and letting nature do it's thing.   Poorly eyes always take a while to heal in my experience, even with antibiotic drops.  I think he's playing on it a bit tbh - I catch sight of him and his eye looks almost the same as the other one then he realises I'm looking so half closes it  ;D  He's still the same Mosi but he has lost some of his bounce.   I'll give it another day or 2 of the ointment (optrex ointment - I've checked with the vet in the past that it's ok to use) and mother nature.

He has a poorly eye and may need the vet if it isn't better when I get home tonight.  I noticed it late yesterday evening - half closed and very pink eyelid.  It is looking a bit better this mornign so I hope it's just a bit of irritation from litter or something.  But if it's still pink and sore looking tonight, he will have to go to the vet.  I could do without that right now, but if he needs to go he'll go.
