I'd say it's cheeky submissive play - Lucas does it to Riley and he's the less dominant of the two.  Riley's a bit more direct and just jumps on Lu flattening him  :evillaugh:

Definately friendly, Misa does that to me and he gently taps me on the arm or shoulder when he wants me to turn round from the puter to stroke him  ;D

Lovely! Binky used to pat my face with his paw, no claws, and it always seemed he wanted to be friendly.

Ive googled it but cant find anything on gently patting with paws.. just on body language.. so if anyone knows I would be very interested xxx

Everything went so well On Xmas day with Leo & Alfie the dog. They genrally do tolerate eachother allot more (well Leo tolerate Alfie.. Alfie just wants to be best buddies!)

We all had Xmas at a friends house & they got on famously.. The only strange thing Leo was doing was creeping up behind Alfie jumping infront of his face.. reaching his front paw out really slowly & patting Alfies face really softly ! (No claws) Would you say Leo was playing ?  Also running up behind Alfie & jumping up & swiping his bum (no claws again !)
