Hi I'm Tyne :)
27 living in Dundee. I adopted a cat today from the SSPCA, 10 year old girl who we've called Opal. This is my first cat but my boyfriend has grown up around cats. She's currently sleeping on her new blanket so assume that means she's settling in fine. She only weighs 3.1 KG so we've been told to try and get her to put more weight on.
I'll be lurking about reading up on how to make her a very happy cat.

:welcome: Tyne.
Opal looks lovely, I'm sure she'll settle in and be putting weight on in no time.
Bless you for adopting an older cat - they're often hard to home because people prefer kittens. I love the oldies, though (I have two 14-year olds)!.

Hi everyone, just had opal at vet for final vaccines since she was found a stray and the vet informed us that she is a he and he has a heart murmur. so he is now named George

Ooops! Well, a rose by any other name would smell as sweet, and he's a very handsome boy. :Luv: Our Padster had a heart murmur diagnosed when he was in his early teens, and he went on to make it to the ripe old age of 20.
Hiya George :welcome:
